Old school Marvel Comics fan here - the Avengers and the X-Men were released in 1963. The reveals recently from the Hasbro ML team have been very interesting and diverse. There is something for everyone. Their QC issues remain a burden, and hopefully there would be something done to resolve this sooner. Luke Cage is the one product I am most excited about. With that said I am hopeful an Iron Fist/Power Man 2-pack will be forthcoming as I passed on pre-ordering this Cage.

The X-Men 97' wave looks incredible, and I can't contain my excitement to see some of my favorite characters from the animated series as action figures. But man, I have to admit, I'm feeling a bit disappointed that I missed out on the Hydra Bob and Deadpool 2 pack. It's always frustrating when you can't get your hands on a collectible you really wanted. If anyone out there has any tips on where I might find this pack or if there are any possibilities of a re-release, I'd be so grateful! Anyway, keep up the fantastic content! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for your updates on new Marvel Legends releases. Cheers! 🎉🎉

I would keep checking back on Pulse. I'm guessing some people bought extras and then might cancel one of them or the may forget to update payment info and it gets canceled. We can't know for sure but I'd hold onto hope for a little longer. Otherwise maybe when they're out you can trade for them.

I grew up always being a fan of Wolverine. I currently have a pair of Wolverine socks that I wore as a groomsman at a friend's wedding. So, as neutral as it sounds, I wouldn't mind getting a really neat Wolverine figure. Also, Hugh Jackman is one handsome Aussie boy. 😅

I remember hearing Dan Yun once say in an interview during Engine of Vengeance Haslab that a Danny Ketch 90s Rider was not included because they felt he could support a retail release with unique motorcycle down the road someday. The Toybiz one is nice but very old and quite small in comparison.

I'm an newer collector from the EU, getting marvel legends over here is kinda hard, especially below retail. At that retail here is about 20 to 30% above US retail. But still Amazon and some UK retailers are the way to go. What I'm most exited about is the new X-men '97 figures, since the older ones related to the 90's cartoon are all above $120,- here on the secondary market.... it isn't fun here to fill a nice display.

Congrats on 900... although as I'm writing this you are already over 1000k. I love the classic Hawkeye look. Although, personally I would prefer it without the Skycycle for half the cost. And while on the subject of customizing sets. I love love love the look of the Destroyer but the bearded Thor not so much. I am most excited for all of the X-Men '97 line from Marvel Legends. The 90s X-Men animated series made me fall in love with the X-Men! So, that styling will always have a special place in my heart.

We both didn't think we would want the bearded Thor but once we got him in hand he's actually pretty cool. Neither of us have a classic Thro so if you already have the 80th you probably don't need this one.

what im personally most excited for about marvel legends to be honest is just any figures i really like. the new x-men line seems really good. unrelated to figures but im glad stores near me are stocking up on more marvel legends, they’re usually dry of any marvel legends but going there yesterday i saw a ton of them! first time since 2016 that marvel legends has been stocked up like that near me

I was able to get the new Black Widow at Target. That was one of the first I got full retail from a store in quite a while. They also got the new MK1 Iron Man but I just got that the day before from Amazon.

I'm MOST excited for that new Blade. He is long overdue and I love the new look. Also excited for that new Luke Cage (hoping a classic Iron Fist isnt far behind 🤞)! As for Legends being back, I'm mixed on what they are offering these days. The poor quality of plastic is really starting to bum me out and the price hikes stink too. However, I also love that we are getting so many great classic comic character designs coming and some great new articulation improvements. We shall see how the line continues, but I'm hopeful.

I am looking forward to that mindless one. While that wave is so sick, especially that luke cage, the mindless ones were so unexpected to be made and seeing them with the cool effects they put on it makes me pumped for that wave. Also I wasn’t going to get the daredevil Elektra but seeing the daredevil as well as the fist ninja in that wave really pulls me towards getting her since there are so many other figures that fit alongside her now.

Cloth capes would be interesting. I only worry that it won't be at the same level as Mafex or other brands with great capes. I would rather stick to the sculpted capes rather than switch to what McFarlane is switching to.

The new Batman 89 figures had cloth capes and I think all of the Batman figures in the movie 5 pack have cloth capes. Even Cat Man is getting a cloth cape.

I won't say that Legends are back, but they definitely seem to be getting back on track. I won't say they're back until the things you guys mentioned become a pattern going forward. As of right now, they're the exception. Theres some good stuff in the 60th anniversary, and a far amount of new sculpts. And Marvel Knights is the best wave I've seen in a while. If you look at the packages for the entire wave, there's actually a fair amount of accessories for each figures and also a decent amount of new tooling. If all waves going forward look as good as the Marvel Knights wave, then that's when I'll say Legends is back. I will say, I'm more excited for Legends than I have been in a long time. The most exciting thing for me is Power Princess. She looks perfect, and she also opens the door for a stronger female mold that could maybe be used for characters like Ms. Marvel, She Hulk, Titania, etc.

That Power Princess does open some exciting doors for the future. I can't wait for what the use it for next. And we agree, Legends are back is more of a good thumbnail, but for the first time in a while, I have hope for them.

I feel like they got pretty lack luster with some of the figures for a while. Spiderman still had good stuff but then the other figures totally lost all accessories and the bafs were pretty meh. It's looking up though.

I got that destroyer 2pk too and tbh I wasn’t impressed by the size compared to the marvel select that I intended to buy at first . But the prices for that one didn’t go down as I thought they would so it seemed like the 2pk was the better price but now I regret it .

I just got the 2 pack and honestly I prefer the Hasbro. The Select has better paint, but I prefer the sculpt, proportions, and articulation of the Legends, and honestly, the Select isn't even that much bigger, other than being wider.

Thank you! Jordan and I do most of our buying of loose figures on Facebook but there are some stores that sell loose figures and bafs. Jordan has quite a few around him and I've got one place in town. Sometimes we can find good deals there but normally they are priced higher than we can get on Facebook groups so we don't go too often.

It's weird because I've seen some saying that this has been a bad year for Marvel Legends and I couldn't imagine why that is, I guess some of the waves have been a little lackluster like Puff Adder, Awesome Hulk and that retro carded Spider-Man wave but there are some great figures in those waves like any other year. With the upcoming reveals, all the Avengers figures coming out and the prices sort of balancing out a bit, this year is looking up, I just hope the ball keeps rolling and things sell. And yeah the Legends community is toxic lmao.

For us it was the lack of accessories that were coming with figures. Maybe they were saving them all back for this year because they seem to be shifting to packing the boxes more. The Marvel Knights wave is the first time I think we've ever seen that many full boxes.

I personally am very excited for the Luke cage and the vision, I am at a point now where I have to be very choosy with what figures I get, and marvel legends has finally been putting out figures that I can be proud of having on my shelf. And the new articulation that they have been pushing has been great, the amazing friends spider-man I would argue is better than most import spider-men, and I don't feel like you could say that about the older figures

I’ve always wanted them to do another Fing Fang Foom. The Toybiz one was my favorite as a kid but my house got broken into not only did they steal him but Spider Hulk too. Years later I saw how much he’s going for and all I can do now is hope for Hasbro to do a new one.

Fandom is fleeting there is no loyalty. So even if everyone or anyone is excited about marvel legends now one week later the hate will return and the KZbinrs will band together with the angry mob to take the brand and the company down. It’s so predictable. There is this desire from marvel legends “fans” to see Hasbro fail.
