I like the older one because it's more accurate. I don't remember him having purple eyes, but the previous masked head is spot on with his look when he returned to fight Killmonger. Necklace is supposed to be a black string with silver claws and they just left it all silver on the new figure. 5:22 They also didn't paint the back of the mid-torso. The added Wakandan text is a nice touch. This can't be the actor's final figure. I hope they make at least one more. Like a coronation T'Challa, an Ancestral Plane T'Challa, or a King T'Challa with a throne.

I really prefer the older one. The paint is more vibrant and covers more space on the figure, plus those white eyes really stand out and look great. I have the new one and just really wish it had the white eyes.

I kept the older head and kept the newer body. Body paint is not as vibrant and has extra paint deco on feet... Super happy.

I definitely like the newer one better. I like the darker purple. The extra painted lines. Addition of the painted claws. And I think the new head sculpt and helmet sculpt are a definite improvement

Infinity War Legacy could be a good set of figures. Cap with accurate deco and two pairs of shields; third time's a charm. Iron Man with his accessories from the 2-pack. Included waldoes for Spider-Man. An accurate Thor with black arms, black discs, and two tone cape. Add a backpack to Black Widow. Another chance at TRU Scarlet Witch.

I sold all my t'challa figures so I need to get this one, it's unfortunate that it's not an improvement over the old one, but I'm digging the purple eyes and silver claws on the feet My old figure was very loose since day one so I hope that's not a problem with the new one

Mine came in yesterday. There’s a minor silver line paint mess up on the helmet sculpt which bugs me, but everything else is fine. There was also a bit of shiny purple on the inside of his leg that shouldn’t be there, but I think I can actually remove that. Overall, I like the figure

I bought the original energy variant black panther in 2021. Then a few months later, theirs a re-release. I think the original is better, because of the paint and the silver eyes. If I didn’t have the original I would have gotten my hands on the re-release. Their both cool figures however.

Easy to make it matte with Mr. Super Clear spray. That stuff has improved every Hasbro figure I've spritzed it on, real life or comic based. Head looks more like Boseman regardless because the tweaked print is also better placed, and even a half millimeter makes a difference on real people figure.

I got the wave from pulse last week, t missed out on the first baf wave unfortunately because I do not like this one compared to the other, the old one is vibrant and this is just dull. I also really like the tactical killmonger. I'll probably track down the old wave. Nakia is my fave then shuri killmonger t'challa.bug yes it's definitely unfortunate 😒

There’s some kind of writing throughout the figure on the newer one idk what dialect but I thought that was pretty cool. But yea you’re right. If you have the older one this is an easy pass.

A movie I want, but don't think they'll do is Hulk from 2008. Great Hulk design and we're getting Abomination in She-Hulk and Thunderbolts. The reason I want them to do this movie is because it's impossible to get an MCU Hulk figure. If you only collect Legends, there's the 2012 version, the two AoU versions, then the BAF from Endgame, all of which are pretty hard to get your hands on.

No one has said it yet, so I will; what was the point of introducing a Black superhero from the comics into the MCU only to have him erased by Thanos, brought back, and then replaced by his sister? I’m part African American and I will probably never understand this…….. I loved Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal of Black Panther. It was very accurate in my opinion. What I didn’t like was the power level scaling thing they did, which was a complete ripoff from Dragon Ball Z. It’s an old plot hole they’ve been using since anime came about.

Black Panther should’ve had a cosmic gem like the Infinity Stones that prevented him from being erased. And when Boseman passed away (Rest In Power), they should’ve stopped making Black Panther movies right then and there.

Agreed, looks cool and nice paint apps. But I’m all good to go, don’t need it. I like my black panther figures just the way they are.
