To me, this blade figure definitely reminds me of Wesley Snipes from his blade movies. I actually thought hasbro made this as Wesley, but i know it's not. Would have been cool, though, but this is still really nice, and im definitely going to get it because it looks like Wesley to me and i think its a really nice figure.

Got my Blade last night. Overall a decent figure and the best Blade we've gotten in Marvel Legends. The figures shoulders are very limited in movement because of how bulky the upper shoulders. Blade cannot hit a T pose at all because of it. Wish we got an alternate head with a closed mouth and that if the grip hands were on an up/down swivel. Great accessories and the overall look just reminds me of Blade from the movies.

Yeah, when I got mine I was a little disappointed with figure until I got him to do a lunging sword slash with that awesome yelling face and then everything was good.

Overall much better looking, but with all the handheld weapons I can't believe Hasbro didn't put vertical hinges on ANY of the hands, as they've been so good with including those on other weapon wielding figures.

This is literally a hasbro kitbash of blade torso, 90s havok, old man hawkeye legs, his torso is shaky because it uses different pegs, I customized mines but it's very different from other ml, so I used magnets but that doesn't hold well.

His arms look way too short. Elbow and wrist should be lower on his torso. His hands look too small too. The new jacket is okay. The head looks great. The sword is the Hand ninja one I think. Good idea to glue sheath to back of jacket. It strikes a good silhouette. You are correct. It should have come with an alternate head. Some bleepers always ice skating up hill or something like that.

I badly needed a blade figure and ended up buying the Marvel Diamond Select figure. Its a fantastic piece with tons of accessories, i would have loved a jacket with him but still great. Months later this figure came out and im still happy with the Diamond Select even though i prefer this Legends sculpt of my difinitive blade, Wesley Snipes.

Since this is a reuse, they should change that arms for pinless, these arms also look bad on Havok, that's the only mistake of this figure, I like that he looks good with cape and without.

I have the Mezco Blade and nothing compares to it.....BUT I want the Mindless one so much. The first comics I remember growing up was seeing the Mindless ones and me not understanding what they were but thinking they looked cool.

not new that lower body looks like old man Hawkeye from the old man Logan 2 pack just molded in black, maybe some slight retooling but def looks very similar to that…a wayyyyy better lower half than what they’ve used for others like punisher because the articulation is smoother but yep definitely prefer this with military style pants

Great review, Dan! Who knows why they reused that torso!? It was horrendous six years ago. Those arms look pretty horrible too. I’ll still be getting the one I have on pre-order, but this already looks like the most disappointing figure of the year from my POV 😢

I'll use the lower legs of the new blade swap it with the old one and I'll have an interchangeable head.. and I'll have someone make me a black posable jacket .. then I'll have an almost perfect blade... Torso/ arms = old blade Heads = interchangeable Lower = new blade Custom cloth jacket

Paladin was the first one to use that chest, no? I'm still hoping for FA/Tomb of Dracula Blade, and since Safari Simon is already 98% there.... 2005 was the other Blade in ToyBiz series 5, and yes, he was based on Snipes. 2017 is the only one NOT bearing any resemblance to him. Heck, just lose the coat and swap on the 2017 heads and he makes a decent gang member/tough guy for crowd shots. oh, and D+ Fury could have used this coat instead of that traffic cone he got saddled under. @_@
