I had always thought about this figure, but passed on it. I decided to start making my X-Force team, after getting Siryn, and ordering a custom head from RXT Customs. I already had a Feral set up after buying three units cheap last year of the Dani Moonstar with Feral and Karma accessory heads. Now they are getting a Wolfsbane to us, and I've already got Five Siryn figure bodies that I can swap heads with, thanks to X-Treme savings here and there, and I mean X-Tremely cheap. But with this Boom Boom Figure, I was gonna put her head and costume accessories on the Siryn buck, but I kinda like this figure as is . . . I'm gonna do what I was originally going to do to see if she works, so I can have a uniformed team, but if it doesn't sit well, I have this overall figure as is to go back to. I just can't stand that old female buck with the Bambi Legs, because the legs are bowed out of the box. I'll try the heat treatment if the Siryn buck doesn't work for me, but those old, gummy legs, man . . .

Hi folks..the head being too high really is a deal breaker..also no improvements in body sculpt or articulation..a big dissapointment for an otherwise much wanted character.

Would have been good if you had a group shot with Cable and Shatterstar, otherwise a very solid review. Now we only need Feral, Warpath and a '90s Domino.

If you would stop leaving figures in the background your camera would stop refocusing constantly, they don’t need to be on there until it’s part of comparison or part of the subject, they just take away from what your trying to present, still need more light and to steady everything up a little, I know you rush these and get those much needed hits but a little more production would go along way with getting followers and subs, the gimmick of beating everyone to the punch is great but do a little more homework on the characters and why the looks, Nightcrawler for example, cut out all the fumbling around with the figures, a few outtakes or screwups can be funny but don’t be afraid to reshoot something, every video shouldn’t be like your doing it for the first time, be proud of what your doing, craftsmanship, anyone can video figures but if you want staying power put a little more effort into the finished product, I don’t mean any offense I am clearly watching but there’s a lot of potential here being wasted. You may not always be the guy that gets figures early so build those followers now with a good product, I rather watch a good review then a first review, we all know the articulation most of the time but people wanna see all those poses, head swaps, comparisons, and things we may have not even thought of yet we can do with the figure.

Thank you for your feedback. Leaving figures in the background is something I’ve always done and likely won’t change. Other have pointed out that they enjoy seeing them there. I’m trying my best to refrain from talking about the characters to decrease video time as I’ve tend to talk too much. Lighting is something that I do need to work on yes; I’ve tried other ways and nothing seems to work properly with the set up and space that I have. I go over articulation on all figures because I ran a poll on my channel and viewers want to see articulation no matter what the body mold is; Bucky Cap articulation every time even. Doing video after video is also another signature thing feature I’ve always done with the channel. I truly appreciate your help though and don’t want it to sound like I’m being dismissive of it. Dynamic poses is not my strong suit so I have incorporated that. Head swaps and size comparisons I do as often as I can based on what I think people may want to see, but at times miss the opportunity not knowing what some would like to see.

MCUcollector24 now worries, if everyone likes the figures in the back more power to them, didn’t take as dismissive, just to clarify didn’t mean to say dump articulation it’s just the other stuff is more enjoyable, polls are great but look at your dips in your analytics, people can vote all they want for stuff but are they actually staying tuned, and don’t mean you have to elaborate heavily but knowing why nightcrawlers face is painted that way is a good inclusion, editing down video of popping heads on and off when they are tough or time it takes to zoom back in, reshooting things that don’t flow or a figure falling can cut your videos much shorter without taking away from them, you would be shocked how much and keeps engagement up, everyone’s different and I’m no expert but maybe you could do a poll of what people think would keep them tuned in more and list several topics, focus, lighting, background info, swaps, etc. I’ve helped a few tubers in the past so just offering a little advice, you do you and I’ll move along now, sincerely wish you the best and hope I didn’t come across as an ass, only wanted to help

Please please don't edit out things like difficulty with swappable parts. It gives us a heads up to potential stressing of joints/hinges. Here for example I now know that if I want to do a head swap it's a good idea to heat the head a little prior. That's useful info to have and saves me having to buy a new fig. Plus recognizing you tend to carry on and actively shorting your vid length is a fresh take. With everyone pushing for that length quota it's nice to finally not need to hit that fast forward lol. One last note: not having a complete backstory isn't all bad. It's fine if it's there but if it's not and asking viewers to fill in the info on the comments is a great way to get ppl interacting with the comments section. Plus I'll be perfectly honest being able to throw down some of my character knowledge was fun on the Nightcrawler vid. Not a lot of ppl in my everyday life looking to have a breakdown on some of my favorite characters. Now I'm not trying to start anything. Just wanted to offer a different perspective. You should always be open to different ideas and views. Best of luck and I've already hit the subscribe button. So make sure to let me throw outside knowledge in the future lol.

YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD KZbinR she was originally Time Bomb and also Meltdown. Boomer was only used for a short time I believe Boom-Boom is her current and most used code name.

Boom Boom proceeded Meltdown. Meltdown was a result of the eventual betrayal of Sabretooth. She spent a lot of time with him following the AoA event. Wolverine had put a claw straight into his brain as the mkraan wave hit rendering him brain damaged and almost child like when things returned to normal. Boom Boom took to caring for him. He would eventually show that he had been biding his time playing B.B. His resulting escape led to Psylocke and Archangel sustaining serious injuries. With that all on her she took a very drastic change in personality and look. Going with a buzz cut type hairstyle, new uniform, more lethal outlook, and finally a new code name: Meltdown. It was a great character development that unfortunately got swept away years later when she made a return. She reverted to her former persona but even more lack responsibility. Went back to Boom Boom codename and in my opinion became a terribly written worthless team mate who was recently shown to be not only careless but not even capable of being on time for a mission in the most recent X-Force title. I'm not saying Meltdown was perfect. Honestly reeked of 90s hardcore, but man was it better than this new Boom Boom. I'd take a nice medium between original and Meltdown any day. Hardened but still have that youthful "yeah whatever" attitude.

my main memory of Boom-boom was when Rogue SKAPOW!!! her in X-cutioner;'s song..that'll be my display for this figure...any X-man is a welcomed figure in my teambuilding even one as unfamiliar as Boomboom...

My Boom Boom has a diaphragm joint that stucked up crunching forward. Well it doesn’t really bother me so much. Great review 👍

Try running it under hot water. You can put the figure in a ziplock bag so it won’t actually get wet
