honestly I'm sooooo glad she wasn't a baf. I know collectors on youtube love that shit and they'll get the whole wave to review regardless , but here's the thing... figs are getting more and more pricey!! Its not always easy or possible to get every figure and hasbro marvel legends are KNOWN for putting a few stinkers in a wave to fill it out. That guardians vol 3 wave was expensive all just to get a dinky dog that should have come with rocket in a single release two pack. Cyborg spiderwoman being a single release means fans can get as many of her as they want and you dont worry about having to find each wave release to build her. This box should have had extra hand and some blasting effects at least. But yeah for me personally I think the baf is a dying off. only McFarlane does it right ( four figures gets you a fifth and it doesn't break the bank unlike hasbros typical 6 figures) I STILL WISH bro thor had been single release....now each of his induvial wave mates go for silly prices. 60 bones is a lot for this but I've been saying for years marvel legends is going up for unjustifiable reasons and packing less box while McFarlane and Mattel are keepin prices low and packing box with accessories....still this release is def one I'm glad i picked up!

I understand your point for sure just the main thing for me that still stands and bothers me is how all the other figs in the wave have the same price as the other figs and the only thing we get are these lazy “retro cards”. therefore if the baf would have been in there nothing would have changed price wise instead people who want to get this will have to pay 60-80 and the thing is also I imagine a lot of people would be buying other figs from this wave already if they are going to buy this one. That being said I completely understand your point just sucks that it was supposed to be a baf and now is a additional 60-80 dollar figure for no reason. I agree Hasbro is genuinely going insane price wise as well and nothing will change cause as much as we argue people still buy. That being said I think the BAF concept is ingenious it was always such an intrigue for me to learn about characters before I would buy any figures of them but I do understand that some aren’t the greatest!

@@jaggercollector7101 yeah thats true. it kinda sucks for you specifically being in Canada. I know min wage is higher there than in the U.S. but this pack is a tough pill to swallow at the prices you paid. some mega hyooge youtubers have claimed this will be a one of sculpt so I had to "treat myself" but yeah hasbro is doing goofy shit. That retro card spiderman wave with no baf and no actual effing accessories for the same price really pissed me off and made marvel legends the pic and choose line for me. Im cool with the concept of the baf back when a figure felt worth it ya know? like a baf imo should be huge and pack out the box. IF the bad guy in a film has a monster transformation or if theres a hyoooge cgi monster that should be the baf. when they made mantis in guardians the baf I knew that was the beginning of the end. making characters that are main cast and should be carded individual releases a baf blows. They did it again with marvels immortals making the one character I wanted a baf (who came with nothing extra still ) when that crappy cro should have been the baf. Its a fine concept but hasbro marvel legends imo has abused it. bafs should always be chunky and feel like a reward for spending almost 120 bucks on a wave.

@@TheIMMORTALKAHNHD yea for sure bro. I also don’t like these small bafs but if I’m being honest it’s like 50/50 small bafs and big bafs which it shouldn’t be. Hopefully something changes but imma be honest. This is my favourite line to collect and even with all the bs I still love the line which maybe is something that will change if something gets worse. I just think of the upcoming no way home wave, the Haslab (likely giant man), so hyped for the quantumania wave, really looking forward to some figs from the avengers anniversary line, loved the blob, love a bunch of figs from the puff adder wave, even this spider man wave straight up I really like even with all of the controversy. Still though for every good wave there is a meh wave being the spidey wave, sorta the xmen wave even tho I like a lot of it, some of the guardians wave, etc. but in the grand scale of it I think 2023 will be a sort of dark time in a few years for legends if not now but I honestly do have plenty of hope things will get much better with the return of the plastic packaging and the amazing future (hopefully of the mcu). Even still I don’t really hate this yeta for legends as much as a lot of people but that could be me! Always love talking to other collectors about stuff like this! Have an amazing night!

​@Jagger Collector yeah man been fan long time. Hey man collecy and like what ya like fore sure. I never take this stuff to seriously. I always like to joke were all just grown men collecting toys 😂😅 I just think we got more power than the toy companies and hope we realize it. Im more 7 inch fig collector but im also old haha so my rule is it goes in the collection if it looks cool 😅😂 aint gotta have no correlation to anything lol. Ppl say its why my fig room pops 😮

Since this is the last video on this wave, let me say what I bought (but haven't received yet since I live in France and here it's complicated to get specific Marvel Legends elsewhere than on online sales websites): - Spider-Punk aka my favorite of the wave and a no hesitation purchase. - Gwen because I don't have her previous Marvel Legends and the Mafex I ordered at the time never arrived due to Covid issues + the import website where I bought her had no restock after the single wave of pre-orders. - Miles because the figurine is pretty good and it would be a shame to show the Gwen from the second movie without him. - Miguel/2099 because I had my pre-order of the reissue of Marvel Legends canceled back in the day and I still need a figurine of him in my collection. That being said I'm very disappointed with the absence of an unmasked head. Regarding the rest, only The Spot interests me but I'm waiting to see his treatment in the movie to see if I buy his figure or not.
