The short swords are intentional. I was a little unsure as well, so I went back and looked through some of Deadpool’s earliest appearances. His swords were noticeably short intially, so this is just Hasbro paying homage to that.

Since they are doing 90's stuff and we are getting a Multiple Man, I want the 90's X-factor Team. Jacketed Havok, and Polaris (even though we just got a modern Havok and Polaris), but mostly want a Strong Guy.

Some New Mutant Xforce would be amazing. I would love a Moonstar with psychic arrows, Cannonball, Sunspot, Magma and Magik. Also would love some New Warriors love with Firestar, Justice, Namorita and Silhouette. Maybe even a Turbo.

It sucks we didn't get many accessories but this deadpool is still far superior to the juggernaut wave deadpool in articulation and looks. Will definitely get two so I can try to put the pouches and such on this deadpool

Picked up this DeadPool for $10 my first one ! Would you recommend grabbing this version of Cable as well .... I was going to grab the new movie Cable from Walmart tomorrow and utilize all those weapons for this Deadpool if this Cable was the better choice Thx just starting my way down the Marvel Rabbit Hole and needed someone to provide me a flashlight 🔦 to find my way through the first couple turns ;)

The OG Deadpool wielded short katanas (wakizashi I believe). I just want figs of: Feral, Cannonball, Siryn, Sunspot, Domino (w/ bettter guns), & Warpath (BAF w/ knives).

+SpecialK 33 Well, w/ what they did w/ Doc Ock's tentacles & the LLizard's tail, I don't have much hope for Nightcrawler having a good- prehensile tail. And I think once Disney gets the X-movie rights back, well be getting a lot of X-men figs (thankfuly they now make prettier female figs). They're already re-introducing X-characters into the Marvel vs Capcom games (which haven't been doing so well since the "X-Embargo").

My vintage marvel legends deadpool didn't come with the choker......its been a year since I bought this figure and the strap has snapped!

I really like the idea of parts not being glued to the figure. It makes it easy to cut them off, create molds, duplicate and use for customs.

I still love that Select Cable. If only they gave him bicep swivel, hell I'd buy him again. I'm looking forward to picking these up though for sure. Glad I got Shatterstar. X-static and 90s X-Force need to be a must.

I've seen some customs where they take off the shoulder pads and the head onto the previous ML Cabel. Part of me is still inclined to try that

My Cable figure also has some loose joint specially that same elbow and those shoulders man you have to rotate it a bit to move it up not a fan of that. If you remove the shoulder pads you will see what is stopping the arm to go horizontal. But overall good looking piece and I like it

8:03 the gun on the top is based off of the Nerf N-Strike Barrel Break and the gun on the bottom is based on the Nerf Doomlands Vagabond

Fwoosh both of the arms are new sculpts on cable. Look at the bicep anatomy compared to the Hyperion arm.

Dang it this makes me want to go and hunt that cable XD. The issue with my deadpool is that he misses the black choker thingy on his neck when he came out of the package (if ya haven't notice robo his choker on his neck and the bracelets on his wrists and ankles are removable) so I had to improvise and made my own choker for his neck, and the paint does a bit messy. I got a tiny smidge of black paint on his red part on his right thigh. If you want you can use the revoltech deadpools katanas if you want a much longer sword, it fits perfectly on his hands

Holy hell, it does. I saw the peghole in the gun, even looked in the hole thinking there was a screw or something, but then missed that peg completely. It plugs there and looks great, along with being able to now hold all three weapons on the figure.

I think the most common way these days is to apply some floor polish or clear fingernail polish. It thickens up the joint a bit for more friction.

The loosenes of joints is inherent to this kind of joint design. Thats why I cannot stand black series. I wish they came up with similar joints as the one shf use. I've had Greedo and the fact that the joints were loose in certain range, but super stiff in the ther just annoyed the hell out of me. I guess I am bit pedantic when it comes to collecting, and such imperfections drive me mad.

I loved X force as a kid, I still have my first appearance of deadpool. I agree about liefelds art, we used to joke about it as kids that he couldn't draw feet so you've always got a little hill or Boulder or smoke obstructing the feet. Bad as thumbnail by the way
