Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Great review! Awesome fig! Dormammu was always one of my favorite villains! Back in the 80s, Doctor Strange was a bimonthly book. When a new issue came out, I had a ritual of visiting this pizza joint after stopping for comics. I would openly read Doctor Strange there while I supped on Hawaiian pizza. These three hot waitresses would make sport of me though. My reply to them was always the same, "Show some respect. It's Doctor Strange. He's going to save the world from Dormammu." But that only brought me more taunts. Eventually, I ended up dating one of them. Her name was Helen and she turned out to be psycho coke-head. The All Seeing Eye of Agamotto didn't see that one coming, by the hoary hosts of Hoggoth!

I like the BAF Dormammu a bit more than the SDCC one, though the latter's purple flame skulls are way cooler. This may just be the one BAF line I actually complete, if only to get Dormammu, who I really like. He fits in among my group of favorite Marvel/DC characters all around.

This is the first BAF series Ive completed. I love Dr. Strange so much. Movie was fine but that Dormammu scene was a little underwhelming tbh. Hope they execute a better confrontation in the sequel.

I like this paint job a bit more, honestly. Especially the red part which looks more cleaner compared to the SDC one which the black wash makes it.....rather sloppy then detailed.

I actually like this wave way more than I thought I would. I complained about it in the forums but all of the repaints actually improved the figures and allowed them to make 4 really nice unique looking figures with Dr. Strange, Astral, Mordo and Nico. Even though Mordo is boring its still has alot more detail and paint than we are used to with Hasbro.

I fucking love this BAF!! I would def do a head and arm swap with the sdcc one. you went in on this review with the comparisons, love it. Glad Hasbro decided to bless us with a retail release of him. I would be ok if they made that a regular occurrence. this way poor people like me don't have to unload alot of cash for these guys we need.
