Cant wait to get her! Although I dont know why it said midtown high on the book. Pete met her on his first day at college. We never saw her until then. But still, amazing figure! Also, that new mj head looks ripped right from the romita sr drawings. I guess they all do. Awesome!

It’d be cool if we could repaint this Gwen outfit with yellow/purple so we could recreate Mary Jane’s look in the Animated series. Maybe taking out the trench could work better for that look.

It looks like the eyebrows on this one are more hidden by the hair compared with the two other Gwen reviews I've seen. Something to look out for. Nice review!

Whatup McU! Lol! You ask "How does Peter do it"? It's because he got with them in the 60's! LOL. Females had juuuust a lil more sympathy for nerds and guys who got bullied, plus they could see something in the guy. If they rebooted the characters from jump and placed them in 2020? With chicks swiping left most katz based on looks (80%), Pete wouldn've stood a chance! Both Gwen AND MJ would've swiped left on him! 2 things about Spider-Gwen; 1st you do know that head is supposed to be a teenaged Gwen yeah? ( I know both the Pete and Gwen figs are based on their teenage years, but let's be real, the chicks were being drawn like they were at least college age back then) 2nd I believe Spider-Gwen's Earth is "Earth 65 (because the "6" represented a "G", and the "5" repped an "S").

I love how the new Mary Jane head with the last Mary Jane body really is spot on her appearance in that "Face it.....Tiger, you hit the jackpot" comic panel.

I think a great re-use of that Mary Jane figure would be to revisit the old Toy Biz ToysRUs Spider-Man Holiday Special two-pack where Webhead and MJ are sporting Christmas-themed outfits. It's pretty niche, but 1990s nostalgia is all the rage and, if it were released in the final quarter of the year, I bet it would sell very well and only require minimal tooling.

Did you see Shartimus Prime's review where he got Gwen into a completely natural pose holding the yearbook and binder in a stack? You might want to give that a look, she holds those accessories beautifully.

There’s a lot of care and detail on the figure, and it’s a much better head sculpt for Gwen. However, the real standout is the MJ head.

Another female left grip hand to use. Squirrel Girl? Spider-Gwen/Ghost Spider is not impressed... Great value for $20. I have three MJ figures. They were hard to get but it made it all the better. I love this new head for MJ. I love the accessories. Bring on a retool vest and tie figure of JJJ with a Robbie Robertson extra head. Include one of those webbed up mouth accessories. They can make figs from this 90s cartoon on these cards for years. I’ll buy them all. Venom, Ock, Lizard. Just revamp them all to have the “classic” look this show went for. This line excites me quite a bit. It’s like that awesome 80th anniversary like quality. Only one gripe, can’t sculpt boots? I may look to correct that. That MJ head is the jackpot.

gwen was peter's girlfriend and would have been his wife if not for norman osborne kidnapping her then dropping her to her doom which resulted in peter trying to save which in the end she died from the webline snapping her back and then,peter killed norman in their final battle but, because comics,both gwen and norman have returned from the dead and on top of all that,her sleeping with norman story arc just made me sick to even read it. to me lately spider-man have just been a rinse and repeat process that has just ruined the comics for me all together which is why i don't read them anymore.

Is there a reason WHY they dont just STRAIGHT UP pull looks from the Animated Series???? Its FRUSTRATING to have the BEAUTIFUL RETRO CARD but the figures are all dark and ugly honestly
