Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The mask wasnt even intentional. When they introduced wolverine into the X-Men in the seventies, Gil Kane drew the eye wing things too big and the design stuck

As far as the right eye looking off to the side, the flesh tone on the teeth, and the not so flawless wiskers..it's really across the board with those QC issues unfortunately. So that's a huge relief to me (no OCD mode activation); knowing the one I own is as good as it gets ..until someone comes along with a review showing off a perfect one.

Another release for this could be painting the pants in more of a burgundy colour, paint the eyes yellow(the scleras not irises) and painting the eyebrows to be bushier and pointier to make it into the Hulk from the 80's cartoon

Awesome set. I bought two of them because I like both of the figures so much. FYI, you can get rid of those stress marks you made on the Hulk figure with a hair dryer. Just heat it up a little and they will disappear. BTW, for the Thing's height I go buy the classic comic depictions by artists like Jack Kirby and John Byrne (and others of that era). They drew Thing as being around the same height as Mr. Fantastic (which I guess is around 6 feet tall). So I personally prefer my Thing figures closer to that height than too tall. If anything, the Hulk figure should maybe be a bit shorter.

The reason why they made Logan’s eyes like that is because that’s probably how the looked after he got knocked into a wall the first time by Hulk and he hadn’t healed yet.

The dot on the right shoulder is on mine as well. Supposedly its a stress mark and can be removed by aiming a hair dryer at it for 20-30 seconds but i haven't tried it yet myself. The height differential between Thing doesn't bother me, since it feels like we really got a bang for our buck what with that huge Thing figure selling for only $20. its less noticeable in action poses anyhow, and you know if thing and hulk get together they're gonna fight not stand side by side lol.

When you go way back to the first Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe, Hulk is listed as 7’, Thing as 6’, and interestingly enough, Abomination is 6’8”, even shorter than the Juggernaut at 6’10”. The 1990s saw the big guys just getting bigger and bigger... by the way, Colossus’s height was listed as 7’5”, go figure! I’ve definitely a fan of the Abomination and the Juggernaut being slightly bigger than the Hulk... I would even say it was Capcom and their interpretation of Juggernaut’s size that really cemented this idea that Juggernaut is 9’5”.
