Marvel Legends: Iron Man Mark 3 VS ZD Toys Action Figure Review

Thank you so much for doing this. I've been considering replacing my ML Iron Man figs with ZD Toys since they're did most of the marks but was concerned they would be out of scale with my other ML figs. Turns out they really fit more with 7 inch lines. They're pretty good but I'm strictly sticking with 6 inch figures. Wish Hasbro would release updated version of the older marks

The ZD Toys figure is just flawless! Despite it being 7" scale, I really think it scales well with modern Marvel Legends. If you push the upper body down it can almost pass as a regular 1:12 ML scale figure. Hell, even the Tony Stark head that came with the MK85-Thanos pack fits the ZD toys figure perfectly. The MK3 was a taller armour anyway!

ZD Toys looks premium and has Led which makes the figure stand out a lot even the color. I don't care about articulation I'm not playing with them.

Yea I'm all in on ZD toys now I ordered Mark 2&3 LED and mark 4 all with the hall of armors

Finally. A legends comparison. Legends looks like a basic figure compared to ZD.

If i saw the Legends iron man mark 3- id comfortably buy that one, also he fits in well with the Iron Monger figure better. But, I still like the other figure a lot too. For me also, I’ve got a few legends figures, so the Legends iron man would scale better too with them.

Yes I think the Marvel Legends one will be best in a regular setting but the ZD-Toy one would look better in a hall of armor display.

ive decided to try to stick to one scale as much as possible, or 7 inch at least, as that fits with the statues ive started collecting (iron studios and kotobukiya etc) so not buying Legends anymore, i think these zd toys are a good replacement. ive also looked at the threea iron man figures which are great but these feel like the best option.

Marvel legends figures aren't actually 6", I just measured a mark 50, 21, and 4 and they are about 6 and a half inches which I find interesting. Very interested in getting the mark 5 from ZD toys since the hasbro mark 5 is kind bad looking and is hard to find

I think they both have different advantages for display purposes I'd definitely got with zd toys but for posing and mixing with other 6inch figures the ML is better

Zd toys mk 3 was only 15$ when i bought it.

That's a great deal but for the quality I'd happily pay the $65 for both the hall and the figure.

@@ShowNuffDaKing I guess it depends on the location, but in the Philippines, the hall and the figure (there's a light up version of the mark 3 that costed $6 more) only costs around $50 for the both of them which I think is pretty nice. My guess why it's cheaper in ours is because we have direct suppliers from china
