The arm is made of "black uru" so I think the super dark gunmetal is a good choice. Looks pretty close to the way it's usually colored. Though it's supposedly the same as King Thor's arm, KT's is almost white-silver in the comics.

Anthony, you gotta read Jonathan Hickman's new avenger's run. This particular look for Thor was so awesome there. Other than that, you want to know why he looks like that read the start of Jane Foster Thor's run just after Original Sin. And you are right that is a destroyer arm!

That bionic arm was reused from Cable.

The destroyer arm is the same forearm and hand as juggernaut wave Cable, would it have made more sense to use the bicep from that figure in lieu of the half painted/arm band thing? Or is what they did source accurate?

for accuracy. His arm is basically cut off half way down the bicep. I think it would have been better to have the bicep too but neither is fully accurate. They'd have to sculpt a new bicep for it to look perfect.

Old Nick Fury whispered in Thor's ears that the gods are not good, and Thor lost his confidence in being worthy to wield Mjolnir, because Reasons. Then Jane Foster picked up the hammer, because Marvel editorial wanted gender equality. Eventually when Jane inevitably dies of cancer, Thor will learn from her sacrifice and be able to pick up the hammer again. Then people will cry that Jane is used as a woman-in-refrigerator for Thor's character growth. The lesson is that most action figures are cooler than their comic counterparts, because they're not bogged down by politics and bad writing..
