Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I prefer this paint scheme over the others since it’s more comic accurate. Mine has the light up eyes. Perhaps you broke yours when you tried removing the head. Also my wife hasn’t spoken to me in a few days because I spent $100 on this.

I definitely like the Wolverine but I am kind of disappointed the fact that they kitbashed it together from other figures. I'm a fan of the X-Men and I have been a fan since I was very young I grew up watching the Animated Series so I really like the Days of Future Past storyline they did in the cartoon And the price points way too much for me I'd pay at least 60 for this

My favourite Sentinel we've gotten is actually the silver version of the Marvel Universe one. Something about the silver just looks soooo awesome to me, and I love the contrast of the gold cables.

I want to get at least two sentinels to go next to my haslab sentinel, who will be displayed as master mold, I want to know which one you recommend the marvel universe red and purple variant or the toy biz baf. I really like both for different reasons, I like the marvel universe one because it looks very similar to the haslab and is quite a bit thicker than the baf. I like the baf because I like the design and the articulation and I think is overall a much better figure but doesn’t quite match the haslab. I think both would look cool but I want to know what you recommend?

Hasbro should've stuck with The other Sentinel. I LOVE The Second Sentinel BETTER than the first one. It had BETTER detail then the new one. But The WOLVERINE looks AMAZING. Looks like they attempted a DoFP accurate color-scheme for this two-pack and simply colored over the details that weren't present in that Sentinel design instead of creating new sculpts without wires and such.

I know that there is less paint but I actually like it better it's more accurate and fits in with the other legends better. I just wish they made a different chest overlay without shoulder pads and a round whatever that is instead of triangle

Ayayaiiiiiii! No paint details. Looking more Plastic than Metallic. I’ll look and buy for the Marvel Universe SDCC instead of this. But I think the Toybiz Sentinel BAF still is the definitive one for me. I don’t care about the Wolverine on this package coz I have a lot of it. Great review Shartimus. It helped me decide not to buy this thing here in the Philippines for I may not be getting the value of my money. Keep it up 👍
