Likely a likeness rights issue. I'm sure they could have worked it out, but it just wasn't worth the money and legal headache, especially when those sorts of things can halt production for a long time while they're getting the details worked out.

@@Spidey_Editz0same but I think they are planning on it but I think they wanted to make carnage first since he was popular choice which is understandable because I really wanted them to make a venom let carnage marvel legends carnage for awhile and when they announced it. I lost my freaking my mind and I was so happy. I am planning on pre ordering on GameStop since he is sold out on hasbro pulse but him being 39.99 plus shipping and taxes it’s $51.23😬. To me that’s ridiculous because this is a marvel legends and they used to be cheap but of course hasbro has to make them more expensive for no reason

Very excited to have this figure but I have 1 question and concern, does this figure feel of good quality? After getting spiderman from far from home I don't know if I trust some of new hasbro stuff anymore my spidermans arm just fell off and is broken on the bicep from poor quality and QC.

He wasn't that tall in the movie, was he? I don't get it, really. I remember him being just the same size as Venom in the movie (which by itself is outrageous since Carnage is always shorter than Venom, and the latter was very oversized in the films). Darn it... I was very excited for this figure but I just don't like this scale. If it's accurate to the movie then great, but not my cup of tea, to be honest. Great review, by the way!

Yeah, he was. If you really pay attention to the fight scenes between Carnage and Venom in the movie, you'll see that Carnage is huge and MUCH larger than Venom. The scaling here is accurate. Typically, Carnage is either the same size as Venom or smaller than him. I guess they made him bigger in the movie, so he'd be more physically imposing since he's the main threat.
