Literally the only figure I wanted out of this wave is Dracula. Dracula was the first fiction novel for adults I ever read. I love Dracula stories, movies, he's my favorite villain, hands down. I'll take all the Draculas.

For one, this is a very nostalgic wave for me. As fan of 90s era Ghost Rider, I love most of those characters and I'm glad we are getting them. I came late into Marvel Legends, and I don't have any of them, so even in the case of characters like Brother Voodoo, they are new to me. This is one wave that got me a lot more excited than the Zabu one, of which I only got Cable and Ikaris.

Hasbro has to learn to use Softer plastic for hair and bendy parts. These sculpts are great, but when so much articulation is lost due to long hair it really becomes a bummer. They need to migrate to a much softer plastic that can move out of the way and allow for more posing options. Nowadays if i see a good looking figure with long hair I`m immediately bummed out because i know the figure will barely look left and right.

Here we are 1month later and I have most of the wave still waiting on Moonknight but I checked my headless Blackheart and my torso swivle works fine no spring back at all in fact mine nice and smooth so you might have gotten a rough one but yea that tail and a lack of ankle rocker is sooooo disappointing.....and man does Hasbro need to learn how to implement a proper dumbell joint there is no excuse for this figure not being able to look up crazy....stupid crazy great review Manny....you the man brother

I agree with you manny. They could have given black heart ankle pivots. Has for themselves already gave it to dogs in their GI Joe line. Timber the wolf has much smaller canine did degraded feet and they have ankle rockers for all four feet. Hell Marvel Legends already did it with the build a figure Cosmo.

Thanks for the review on this wave Xmanny. Like yourself, I was terribly disappointed when this wave was revealed. Being an old school Marvel fan - a "Strange Tales" wave meant something completely different to me. With the effort applied to this wave, one must wonder if Hasbro ML is really trying their hardest to put the final nail in the coffin of BAF waves. Thankfully, I have the OG Blackheart, and this new one is barely an upgrade so I can miss this wave (except Dracula, man he looks very cool). Hasbro ML is doing great things for my wallet recently.

As a MVC fan I was looking forward to the Blackheath. Seeing That it has a difficult time moving is disappointing. On a positive note, I had no intentuons of buying the Dracula, but after watching this review I am considering it. It looks nice and if O add a wash and dull coat would look real fly. Then by Blade will have a vampire to fight. So thanks for the info Manny.

Is your anger directed merely at how long ago it was when that body they used for Brother Voodoo was initially introduced into the line? Or is it not a good body? I don’t own the figure that the body debuted on, and I’m terrible when it comes to identifying action figure bodies, so I’m not sure if I own any figures using that body.

To me the bloodstorm figure was a major letdown. And it's not because I was actually a fan of vampire storm. I was disappointed that she's almost nothing but reused parts. When they could have sculpted new double jointed jacket arms, and use that on several other female figures. And it's not just this copy mine too barely has any fangs on her open mouth head. I'm honestly considering just painting her hair, and just using her as a generic vampire for my Blade figure to fight.

Hey Manny. Just letting you know that there are 2 Liliths in Marvel. One is Dracula's daughter and first appeared in the 70s. she tends to look more like Satanna. The other Lilith is the one we got the figure of. Shes the mother of demons and first appeared in the 90s Dan Ketch Ghost Rider books. She has no family connections to Dracula. I know you're not a big fan of the mystical side of Marvel so i understand how the mistake can happen

I want a neck hinge, ab crunch, waist swivel. Hasbro has continually showed they cannot execute ball pegs or diaphrams. And yet Dracula and Black Heart have the best hips in marvel legends. No drop down thatll wear out and basically full splits. Weird as hell. Id have wanted a bulkier Black Heart but thats a moot point. Im hoping the MvC 2packs rumor is true because this wave is a huge disappointment to me. If i can get the whole wave for $60-70, but full price? Nope.
