Yeah it’s pretty close, not exact though. I saw a 3d printed edge of time headsculpt on instagram that looked amazing, but I can’t remember if it was for Mafex or legends.

Except his lenses were black, that is my ONLY complaint about this is there's no head-sculpt with black eyes.

​@@GraveX1the main one is black, but they made it have a reflection effect, which is accurate to the design, especially since it's vased off of Camuncollis art, which looks 1 to 1 to uow he draws it. The white eyes are also accurate to recebt itterations like the 2019 run

I love how the shoulders are bulkier and more rounded. They are also placed higher giving it a better look. You can see how better placed they are when compared with Kaine Parker 14:47.

That 2014 Marvel Legends Superior Spider-Man was such a big deal when that wave came out. It was the start of a new era at the time. The memories.

@@jaymino7307 Yeah, I was 16 then and that wave had got me back into collecting. 2019 was a great year for Legends too. It was the year of the 80th anniversary Marvel Legends (Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, etc). 2024 Legends have brought that feeling back.

I was weirded out when I heard that Peter and Doc Ock switch bodies but I think this Superior Spider-Man figure is a much better improvement than the previous release who didn't come with the waldoes, I even don't have him, But awesome review on him Dan.

I was bummed at first when he was revealed not to be on the ryv body but as ive spent more time with those ryv body molds they really arent all that, and are lowkey really limited. The articulation scheme almost tricks you into thinking its better. Sometimes i feel i can get better poses with this classic crunch when its done well. Ofc ideally the best way to do it is ball jointed waist and ball jointed torso

It’s funny you mentioned that because when I try to play around and pose my Scarlett spider and RYV spider man, something just feels off and I never really enjoy it. I have a lot more fun with other moulds

Its funny how hasbro does ball jointed waists in like gi joe figures but absolutely refuses to on marvel legends. Its so strange. Same with star wars figure being single jointed and only coming with gripping hands

This is the best spider-man weve gotten. I hope they fill in the holes and use this as their basic smaller build. No sloping or low shoulders, great V shape to the torso. The proportions are the most comic book superhero weve ever gotten for a spidey

Now we just really need a new Kane, a classic Miles Morales Spider-Man, and a 2099 spiderman on the renew your vows body. The retro spiderman 2099 was basically outdated a year after it came out. I like the figure, but the renew your vows body is just leaps and bounds better than the pizza spiderman

It might be a hot take but the proportions of this figure look so damn weird. The big-ass wide neck paired with the tiny shoulders makes this figure a mess, not to mention the huge gap of the torso twist (the original one doesn't even have this problem). But one thing I can praise about this figure is definitely the head and the printed building eye head works too.

Yeah no, you're right. The chest is tiny, and the neck and head are huge, which makes him look like a bobblehead. He also just has these terrible gaps at the shoulders and the waist. I was actually really excited for the figure since the proportions on the promo pics looked way better, but in hand, it looks like more Hasbro mediocrity.

@@herringstheseries comic book proportions are usually bigger-than-life proportions like a huge ass V-shaped chest and broad shoulders, not this janky ass proportions. If you want to get more specific then take Humbert Ramos's art as an example for this figure because he drew most of the storyline for Superior Spider-Man, his proportion is still much better than this thing.

This guy is looking sweet. Great video mate. Never knew about this character, love the doc ock influence. I’d probs go for the white lenses but do like the look of the printed lenses.
