Got myself this set since I didn't have either figure previously. It bugs me that Thanos doesn't come with an alternate arm and is stuck wearing the Nano Gauntlet. It makes this Thanos a very scene-specific figure. I would have liked another option so he can just be regular battle-damaged Thanos. Otherwise, it's a pretty awesome figure. I appreciate that Hasbro actually went and retooled the mold a little bit instead of just straight reissuing the original BAF figure, which I wouldn't have exactly minded if they had. It's great that his double-edged sword is more accurate now. That's a plus. Yeah, the "dusting" head looks a bit wonky. I give Hasbro credit for thinking outside the box a little bit and trying something, but it does look odd and I probably won't use it. Iron Man looks great. I love the new accessories included with him, especially the Tony Stark heads. That likeness is spot-on. Looks just like Robert Downey Jr. Overall, an awesome set if one has never bought these two figures before.

This Thanos is a nice upgrade, and his new upper arms really help the proportions work better as they give him broader shoulders and beefier arms. 👌🏼

the most irritating thing when swapping arm with baf is NOT that the forearm armors don't match, it's that the shoulders aren't in line, one shoulder sits lower...

Comparing the old RDJ headsculpt to this one, this one is the clear winner here. Although, it is huge. Comparing it to the old one, it looks as if it would fit on the Marvel Select Mark 85 figure.

I have this set. Unfortunately there are some purple dots on the left side of my Thanos torso and im not sure if this is spilled paint or some scratches made during packing, also on the iron man's right hand there is red line on the gold part of arm. Honestly for the price this set cost in my area i expected better quality.

I like both the figures all things considered. With the fading, flying dust affect on Thanos, they should’ve committed to it by making his head half dust, or 2/3 for having that option, it’s unnecessary otherwise; but A for effort and providing a variant, another option at least…

Does the forearm armor come off of the BAF thanos arm? I was curious because the new one can, as well as the nanogauntlet. I was thinking of getting just the BAF arm, taking off the armor, and sliding it on to the two pack's right arm, that way I can switch between.

If I remember correctly, you hated the original figure and I have the earlier version of the first Mark 85 because I wanted the Hulk gauntlet but I only have a few parts from the BAF but I do have the right arm from the original so I will display it without the red Gauntlet like you have done it. Great suggestion. I am happy that this set comes with different heads because I was not going to spend over a hundred on that Hercules figure although I might buy the living laser if I can find it at a good price for a non battle / less battle damaged Thanos body. Have you tried mixing and matching the torso parts yet? If so, how does it look? Great Job as usual. You did not mention Odin Infinity Saga, did you all ready do it or do you have no interest in it.

Iron Man didnt use the Nano Guantlet to snap, he removed the stones and put them on his armor, so other than damage from fighting, it wouldnt be damaged like the Nano Guantlet Thanos comes with
