Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I also think the Eddie Brock is fantastic. I don't mind that it's big because that's how it was in the source material they based this figure off of. Has anyone tried putting the Eddie Brock head on either the monster venom figure or the marvel select figure or the revoltech venom figure? It might work better with those figures.

Not just you, the head sculpt is actually one of the thing I really like from this Venom. The detail is really good. His head isnt that big if you consider Venom's body is much bigger than Spiderman. If his head is Parker's size, that would just look wrong compare to his body.

Eddie Brock's head is just right with the body. It looks big because the color black of his Venom body stands out giving you an optical illusion. The profound color black makes his unmasked head looks bigger but it's just right really.

That Eddie Brock head is the ugliest, lamest head I've seen in a while on a figure. It's not just lame, but huge too. And by huge I mean HUUGE. I can't belive that nobody said anything at Hasbro about it. Just a " hey man, that head seems freaking big" would have been enough. But no.....They just made a lame Venom figure. Again. The Carnage figure is amazing tho.

I just picked up Carnage for $12 at Gamestop, and I agree, it's fantastic. It really helped me out that they released this figure, because I was in a bind a couple years ago, and I really needed some money, so when some guy offered 50 bucks for the Carnage figure complete I sold mine. really glad I got a new and improved one cheap.

I believe the Eddie Brock headsculpt is based off of Todd McFarlane artwork, but wouldve preferred Bagley’s Eddie since the Venom is more reminiscent to Marc Bagley’s artwork.

Maybe I'm not discovering anything at all, but I'm pretty sure that neck effect on venom is for the Eddie Brock's head, and represents like the unmasked Venom head

The carnage head is the best I love it venom is kind of cool bit I wished it came with claws or weopons like carnage did or that long touge thank you

Im currently playing around with my Carnage Figure. I personally feel like the tendrils are way too fragile, everytime I mess with the joints around them I feel like they are slowly breaking.
