You mean the world isn't going to end if I don't get this figure as soon as it comes out??????????🤯 You make a good point though, it's insane to me, how many people now are out of control buying these things like it's gold bullion. People that don't even collect or never collected in their lives are buying them, just so they can rip people like us off, now we have Target stock boys stealing them, and buying them before they even hit the shelves so they can sell them on eBay. I guess that's part of the reason people are so worried they won't find what they're looking for because you have to deal with the employees stealing them before you have a chance to buy it. And it's only gotten worse as everything slowly moves to being an exclusive somewhere. Obviously Hasbro saw some prophet in letting scalpers get out of control and jacking up the price and demand on these things, otherwise you can surely bet they would have stopped it by now. Websites like Walmart that allow third-party sellers, to price gouge as high as 5 * retail on something that is their own exclusive. You can't even buy a Walmart exclusive for 2499 anymore, Walmart itself will tell you it's out of stock for a week or two after it comes out and then jack up the price by 5 $10. It's out of control. Again another part of the problem is Aldi's KZbin websites, getting paid to endorse and hype up these figures so people are clamoring over them and thinking there's some sort of honor badge that they have it on their shelves. We have grown adult men fighting in targets over action figures, if people would calm the f down, and only go back to collecting what they really need or enjoy instead of having to dump 500.00 on every new release that comes out in a year, maybe Hasbro Woodstock lowering their prices or at least give you more for your dollar. But until that happens we're stuck where we are now.. action figure collectors hell.

I see quite a few people defending the old figure, focusing especially on her "curves," but all I see when I look at that face is Droopy Dog. I really think her new face sculpts (both of them) are the best looking female heads Hasbro has ever made. And I also think that's a big part of what's driving demand. I am not the world's biggest Carol Danvers fan, but when I saw those initial pics my brain said "I need that."

Great choices, I do think that Janet maskless head is amazing. She-Hulk is great also but looks slightly fake, like she's just smiling because someone's taking a picture. Her mouth says "I'm happy" but her eyes don't.

Yea, that old figure had its place but the newer figures are just better. I would love a more curvy female figure with this articulation... the new rogue has that sort of curvy body but because of the jacket, she is missing out on some articulation.

She is true 1/12th scale and the same size as Mafex figures and the proportions are just right on her glad to see Hasbro stepping their game up but we all know it's not going to last

i got my warbird fig & i think the only problem why people saying she a little bit smaller is just because of her small head sculpt...yes, the overall head sculpt,if you remove the hair you'll see a lot of diff...compare to the head of black widow or sharon carter.

The old body mold looks so weird, but I guess it could pass. The biggest difference for me is in the face and hair. The new ones look AMAZING, perfect! The old one looks so empty of excitement and dull. I definitely need this new figure. Two of them, actually. ⚡

I really love this figure, especially when comparing it to the old one. I just realized how much thigh muscle definition she has which is so much better than the straight up and down legs a lot of figures get. Her "shortness" seems to put her into a more true 1/12 scale versus the slightly larger scale of the older figures.

100 accurate they're doing it in my store too. yet another reason Hasbro needs to do away with exclusives. Because most of these people are pieces of shit, the only care about resale value. We never even saw this figure on the shelf in our Target there was a spot made out for her and not one of them even made it to the store floor. That's fukin pathetic. It's not even that great of a figure to be honest I've seen better recently from Hasbro. Who needs all this extra articulation that they don't even execute properly, when we have older figures that look much better on the shelf. But hey one thing these people are good for, is complaining how much they don't want to pay for repaints, or shity figures, but then they go right ahead and make sure they sell out of stuff like this.😂 This community is pathetic lately. I remember a time when collectors used to look out for each other, when things were worth what they well worth, not artificially jacked up by a bunch of dick heads buying up the whole lot so they become rare, only because no one else can get them. The scalpers in cutthroat collectors are bad enough to deal with, now we have to deal with the stock boys in the back? Who probably can't even afford to buy these things in the first place because they don't make enough. You're not going to tell me a Target stock boy has disposable income like that. So I highly doubt they are paying full price for them to turn around and resell.... So to top it off a lot of them are probably stealing them.

I am convinced that Hasbro practices shrinkflation. They have been making comic book figures with much less plastic so they don’t have to pay for the raw materials while we pay more for less. Xmen97 Jean Grey was horribly small too. They try to make it very discreet too so most collectors won’t notice unless they pay attention to details I usually defend Hasbro but trying to skimp on size of figures is SLEAZY AF.

Backordered means they didn’t have enough inventory to ship out by the original intended date.

It means they ran out of stock before they got to your order. They will probably try to have your order filled using store inventory now, but this thing is selling like crazy so there is no guarantee it will happen. My order changed from 'backordered' to 'preparing to ship' today but still hasn't gone out yet.

The figure is a good one, but being a stickler for accuracy, that height will grate on me. Danvers is one of the taller women in Marvel at 5'11 (essentially a 6 footer) along with Storm. Here she is shorter than the Black Widow (5'7) and Sharon Carter (5'8). Argh!

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I'm already thinking of how to give her some more height. You could give her some spare heels from the Walgreens Emma Frost or a number of other figures.. I like my figures' scale to be less artificial though. I have successfully added height to the thighs of a few others in the past but it's hard not to break up the sculpt. She needs a boost though one way or another.

Everyone has their own preference, but personally I like it because it allows characters with long hair to have more head rotation. Softer plastic or swappable hair would be better in an ideal world, but I'll take what I can get.

The first one, bad paint aside (glossy finish, skin on black plastic) actually looks like the Carol from the 2000s Avengers run, muscular and curvy, the new one besides getting a forced breast reduction, has zero muscle definition and looks smaller than Natasha and has the same size as Wolverine, a complete disaster in proportions and scale but because she has butterfly joints and inverted AB crunch people believe that she's the best female ML ever, the absolute state of Hasbro drones, at least the upcoming Jean looks like a proper update. also the heads, they look as bad as the Retro Sue, reminds me of that feminist chick meme with glasses screaming.
