I do wished that I had the 2019 Wendigo BAF wave Nightcrawler figure because I don't have one but I will try to get this so very cool Nightcrawler figure from this line despite the animated look from X-MEN 97 but Kurt Wagner is a cool character with amazing abilities of gymnastics, style, and art like Beast, Great review on this unique Nightcrawler action figure.

This is the first Nightcrawler I’ve bought since the Toybiz days cuz I’ve just recently started buying figs again. I picked this guy up cuz Nightcrawler was always my favorite member. The articulation on this guy is actively pissing me off. The lack of a bendy tail is a big deal. Really limits things. I also really miss the articulated toes of the Toybiz one. Went a long way to posing him. It also just feels wrong to get a Nightcrawler without a sword but he doesn’t have a grip hand and this entire line seems to be lacking grab hands in general. His hip ball pegs should’ve also sat lower in the hips so you could get more range. It’s hard to get him in low poses. Lack of a boot cut is a bit weird too. Just so many little things that keep this from feeling like a proper Nightcrawler. It’s like a standard Marvel Legend with a Nightcrawler skin. This guy should’ve had at least comparable articulation to Spider-Man and it’s just lacking. I’m happy to have this on my shelf but it could’ve been so much more.

I took the torso and shoulders from the new one and put them on the old one so now I got a pinless old one lol

My main issue with this figure is something you liked, lol. I hate his head… really, really hate it. really don’t like his doofy windswept Goo Goo Dolls hair… My Wendigo BAF NC fell from the shelf and did not survive so.. I’ll get this one and put the old head on it. But I pretty much only collect Jim Lee style 90s comic based X-Men.. so, the body alone will be used properly haha.

Think nightcrawlers supposed to be like 5' 9" and wolverine supposed to be 5' 3" , also if the 97 nightcrawler had had a boot cut is have definitely bought him. But I passed more than Happy with previous one.
