Initially I was skeptical of this game BUT decided to buy it and try it for myself. That being said this game is definitely really dope and surprisingly fun. Don’t knock the turn based style gameplay until you try it

Magik is deceptively awesome. Her portals and Trapdoor card are great for lining up more enemies into an area of effect attack, or especially great when paired with Spiderman's multiple ways of getting free environmental attacks.

don't use this build for Blade it's basically the worst way you can use him. Try modding your attacks (I advise you to use 2 reapers with modded quick, 1 strike with modded apply bleed (later to be replaced with Glaive once you get the legendary), 2 Hungers modded with draw last attack, 2 daywalkers modded with apply bleed and 1 Make em bleed modded with -2 heroism. This makes Blade self sufficient, but he also helps the team because he Marks the targets he puts bleed on via Hunger, which is great for marking targets for others that don't have quick attacks available and drawing back his Reaper into your hand plus healing you on top of that so you don't have to use the Stake at all , Reaper with quick on it replaces your quick attack as an opener but is also a powerful finisher once you applied bleed to target (If you used make em bleed, reaper will apply then consume bleed stacks on the target) Once you get Glaive replace strike with Glaive. Also there is a difference between AoE and Multi Target dmg dealer. Iron Man has AoE mark, but his attacks are multi target not AoE. and he is with Venom if you got the DLC, on t op of tier list of heroes beside hunter. Ghost rider is usable, but his self damaging mechanics and flashy but often lacking abilities put him somewhere in the middle of the bunch, maybe a bit towards the bottom, he is definitely viable tho and can be modded to have good card draw. (Lash being forceful in any direction, with draw 2 cards on KO will draw 3 if you knock the target into one of your heroes once you get that research) All in all tips in this video are pretty underwhelming

Hunter Dark path is a BEAST later in the game. Can easily disable protection and one-shot tough enemies with the right setups. When mixed with Iron Man (putting marked on everything) and Spidey/Strange/Nico for status effects & AOE you can get rid of the toughest enemies on turn 1 before they can even act, sometimes even clearing the board and finishing entire missions on turn 1. This strategy is pretty OP even on Legendary II difficulty, but it does require some epic cards from the dark path (mindbender & merciless especially)

Mindbender is crazy good. Especially if you modded it so it's free. That's helps so much with the shield guys. Plus if your dark exhaust cards no longer have exhaust. So you can keep using Mindbender/Patience all game it's crazy.

I don’t regret choosing the dark path. I LOVE merciless! I like to combo that with a Strange or Spider-Man bind or even better (later in the game), upgraded “Deadly Ground” to set up one or two electrical explosives (and bring Magik along to knock enemies into them) and you can merciless-ly obliterate the toughest enemies easy peasy 👌🏻

That’s definitely my biggest complaint about the game. The characters are cringe-inducingly childish and the friendship system feels so embarrassing to play when you’re dealing with a bunch of grown adult superheroes, and there are *way* too many drawn out conversations that contribute nothing to the story… BUT I really love everything else! Super fun game when you get over all the bad dialogue

i mean u want to use Binary at the end of turn so u have all that block when the enemies take their turn, especially if they are targeting Captain Marvel since if she gets knocked down she can't use her binary for the block and double damage, and she still had that damage on the next turn unless the enemy manages to get through the block which if they do then she would of been ko'd anyway thus not being able to use the card as stated b4.

There are micro transactions, you can pay Money for premium currency to buy costumes not otherwise available. They are relatively cheap compared to most games. $12 for 1500 currency. Most outfits are 300, except the current bundle which is 3 costumes for 300.

@@masterwesty he uses his own health to make his attacks stronger and his life drain cards suck, u need a damn dedicated healer just to support his bullshit so he is in fact not the strongest character. That actually goes to The Hunter who is by far the best character in the game with how versatile and strong they can be.

Drain Soul is a pretty middling attack but it does tend to reload his health bar reasonably well. Straight to Hell is also excellent as both a heal and pseudo-stun; on turns when you're not being targeted his health doesn't matter anyway and once you are being able to blank those units' turns while you heal up is really nice. There's also something to be said for his raw damage output. Dead enemies don't attack and Judgment, Hell's Fury, and Penance Stare are all excellent at getting targets dead. His biggest downside is that he's insanely heroism hungry but that can be compensated for pretty easily.

Not liking the character is perfectly valid! It's still probably worth working out what his good kit looks like for missions where you have to use him but it's perfectly fine to sideline him the rest of the time. I do the same with a few characters. That said, there is a difference between not liking him as a character and saying he's bad because you never got out of his awful starter deck (Lash+ is excellent because of the Quick upgrade and Hellmouth+ is okay since it gives Strengthen; the other commons are all ass).
