As I did with Rocket, I wanted to try to make an emotionnal one with Peter. Even while being one of the funniest character of the MCU he still have one of the most tragic story. He lost his mom early, his real father, his adoptive father and Gamora. That is exactly what I tried to explore in this one.

So first he watches his mum die from terminal cancer, only to then get abducted by the ravagers as a kid and raised into a thief. With threats of being eaten and learning how to be a criminal. He then learns his father killed his own mother, while claiming to love her in order to follow through with his plans to rule the universe. He loses the only real father he had in Yondu when he sacrifices his life to save Quill, deeply traumatizing him. He loses the only woman he has ever really loved to a sociopathic, apathetic dictator, in order to gain power of the infinity stones. Then he is snapped out of existence by said guy. When he comes back after everything, he is able to find Gamora again as a younger self, only to have her never know him at all. She never shared their adventures, never met in the kiln, never fell in love and she never became a guardian. Honestly Peter deserves a hug, he's such a soft bean and honestly deserves to find love. At least thor got his people back, at least he found a new Asguard. Peter doesn't even have that anymore. Hell his grandpa is possibly dead by now. I really hope they give Quill a break in GOTG3, he's been through too much already. I just want him to be happy

Many people just think of Peter Quill "Starlord" As a type of space cowboy used for comic relief. However, he is much more than that. Throughout all of these films there are emotional, human moments that transform Quill. He began as an orphaned scavenger with no one to trust or love.... but he eventually found a family, fell in love, became a leader, and made sacrifices for the greater good. I’ll always adore Peter Quill, he’ll always be one of my ultimate favorites. Maybe it’s because I relate to him heavily, from his music taste to his daddy issues, but nonetheless he’s actually one of the most human Marvel characters and in my opinion? One of the most inspiring. Everyone who hates him because of the thing in Infinity War either didn’t watch both Guardians movies or didn’t understand. Quill is so underrated, everyong hates him for what he did in AIW ( 4:10 ) He's my fav character from GotG1 because this is someone very easy to relate to. He's the only one who made me cry... TWICE in the entire MCU. "If you kill me, you'll just be like everybody else! - ... What's so wrong with that?" is the exact quote that defines him best. He's a very little man, with not so big muscles (he doesn't need to fight Thor to claim leadership!), not really smart (he's not from Earth, he's from Missouri!), but he is moved by his humanity. And this humanity allows him to make great things. Damn those feels, great video!

I have always loved the guardians and every movie they're in. This is such a perfect video tributing the reason I love the guardians so much, Star Lord. Star-Lord/Peter Quill is my favorite comic book character and one of my all time favorite characters in general. I love Starlord with all my heart and seeing a masterpiece like this video which perfectly show his personality, it’s absolutely breathtaking! It's so unfair to Quill. He lost almost everyone and everything. Vol 3 was an absolute masterpiece but I'm still depressed with Quill's arc. At least let the dude bring his love back with Gates of Eternity, I don't know

Your amazing at finding the perfect scenes, to portray a character. You did the one of Loki awhile ago, you did incredible on that. You had portrayed Loki’s pain, and just wanting acceptance. In this one you show how much Peter actually lost, you show how much pain he’s gone through. But you also show how he’s changed
