The keeping ult is a feature but only for king of the hill, the fix stops it from happening in payload and convergence.

@@yatohiyashithat's not how it works. You don't get it in a new game and there are in fact two rounds for payload, in ranked, not in quick play. It carried over to the next round in every mode, not to every game. Every game had 0% ult charge, it was never an issue.

That icon is not a seasonal dmg boost, it means that they have their team up boost applied by default because they are featured for the season. Supposedly to boost their play rate and incentivize people playing for their team up ability

i have this issue and it's so annoying. I don't have enough space in my ssd to see if that fixes the issue, but i've seen people saying it doesn't help anyway. So hopefully they fix that soon, it's hard to enjoy the game when i'm almost being afk kicked just for loading in after a painfully long time.

The seasonal damage boost is specifically only applied when you have a team-up active. Team up abilities often only effect one or two people, so the second / third person has a dps/heal increase to compensate.

I added frame generation just now in game settings and got around (120-140) fps(I was not aware of this kinda mb) but still when I am getting dove by iron fist/psylocke/Spiderman/venom it drops down to under 40 when they are in my face. It is not consistent while overwatch, valorant, siege I get around 200 frames when I don't limit the frames in the game settings(when I do limit it doesn't go below 160). Lowest it went was ~140 when there was 2 mauga ults in ow2

The buff you're talking about at the end is the anchor buff for the team-ups. Only the characters that enable the team-up get season specific buffs. Vanguards get 100 HP, Duelists get 15% extra damage, Strategists get 30% extra healing For example Hulk and Thor gain an extra 100 HP when used with Wolverine and Captain America respectively

Not all follows that, venom's buff is 150hp not 100 and Hawkeye has a 20% increase of dmg not a 15% increase just letting you know

I thought that being able to save my star lord ult to wipe the point on my attack round instead of finishing my defense with it after someone gets a pick in round 1 was the best thing to do. I love Star Lord he’s so fun with his ult!

I also do not like the seasonal boosts heroes get. I think they are doing it to try to change metas every season and mix things up, but honestly I have no clue why they thought this was a good idea. It ignores the competitive integrity of the game, something I think the devs need to focus more on perfecting soon. (Things such as: maps moving in comp games. Destroyed walls spawning in front of players blocking their LOS on teammates or blocking their ability to secure a kill. One shots feel terrible and are too easy to get) Also the damage and healing numbers on the scoreboard in game are way higher than your average overwatch score numbers. I find it funny because people say overwatch has too much healing, but this game literally has more?!

I believe the yellow icon on the hero select screen is for team ability anchors. For instance, Venom is the anchor for Peni and Spider-Man. He doesn't get an extra ability, but he gets an anchor bonus of 150 extra health (same for all tank anchors). DPS anchors get additional damage, and healer anchors get additional healing.

I think that the seasonal buff yellow symbol you were seeing is for the characters that activate a Team up but doesn’t get any ability, like Adam Warlock gets a 15% healing bonus if you have mantis or star lord while they get the Self Rez ability

People need to not judge balance based on how OW was. That game started its long, slow, painful fall because it was too focused on a balance that could never be attained / maintained. instead of nerfing the most fun heroes, they should buff the ones that aren't nearly as enjoyable.

the seasonal buffs are only active when you do the team-up, its fair for the character that actually gets nothing out of the team up like for hel. You get dmg % increased while loki and thor gets revived instantly if she gets a kill. or Cloak and Dagger gets heal % increase while Moon Knight gets a whole cloak ability

If ult charge being saved between rounds was not a feature i think they should slow the cap speed in all honesty. Sometomes it feels like on a map you get to use your ult maybe once. But with it being saved then it was fine because you would just charge it for the next map. Im not saying it should be massively increased, but increased by a bit for sure

4:14 hilariously enough, if you use jeffs ultimate on hydra base while the capture point platform rises, you fall through the map, i ended up with a 10 man ult because of this (sorry teammates)

I'd just like to throw this out there as someone who plays magik mostly, I think her main mobility tool should be the portals and her dash uppercut should focus more on damage and combo set ups. It sucks burning the uppercut to get a kill then praying my 2 tps get me far enough away to survive, or having to use it just to reach someone above me.

I thought the ult carryover was a feature too. It made sense to me because if you get stomped in one round, your ult charge would carry over so you have the chance for a comeback lol Almost sad it’s going away but it’s probably a good change

Jeff's ult needs to be nerfed with how high it can reach. It reaches like 10 meters above the ground or as high as captain America jumping if not even higher. As for Jeff launching people off map I personally think that's balanced because there is counter play being cloak and dagger's aoe invincible and other similar skills. Even without that you can spread out then burst Jeff down before he can spit out your team off the map.

Idk more bout the seasonal effects but it sounds like their way of rebalancing seasons to keep things interesting without needing to balance. Overwatch changes their balance up to make it interesting. Idk which is better but team up abilities are great either way but permanent percentage dmg or flat health buffs are interesting..

They need to fix the path and end indicators for the cart. Can't tell you how many games I've lost (or even won) because the visual indicator that the cart is reaching a checkpoint/end is so subtle. It ends in weird places where you'd think it would need to be pushed farther. And this isn't at all uncommon. Happens a lot.

when they eventually start buff/nerfs, i seriously need them to buff or rework Storm. Currently she is insanely underwhelming and with no real mobility, she tends to be a free kill against good players. Why would she have zero CC with lightning as an element? No chain lightning? Her damage is too low even with self-buff or thor's buff and her main projectile is insanely slow. They do have to be careful since she buffs her allies damage and that can be a VERY slippery slope. But as it stands, her duelist/strategist kit requires her to be in the thick of fights but she has no way to defend herself while being slow, squishy, and no cc. Just weirdly designed in my opinion.

I pray they fix custom bindings on controller. I cant set custom bindings without the controls getting borked in public matches and im forced to reset to default. It makes certain characters like Scarlet Witch awkward to control on controller.
