This is one of those rare 'fun' platinums, where theres no grinding, no overly challenging tasks, its just pure joy, start to finish, not many games out there that have that same gaming experience, for me I can only think of Spiderman games, It Takes Two, A Way Out, Astros Playroom and A Plague Tale that compares

I also came into this game with low expectations because of Avengers. In the end, I found a gem that made me feel emotions that were not boredom over repetitive gameplay or frustration because of bad teammates/toxic opponents. The promises scenes for Drax and Nikki got me to tears and I can't recall any other game that made laugh, cry, just make me emotionnal the way GOTG did. The fact that this is a relatively simple plat also helps enjoyment-wise.

Im playing through the game rn and so far im having so much fun with the mechanics and i love the story, characters, jokes, dialog with eachother, the choices u make, the bosses and just the entire game overal. Such a hidden gem which is finally starting to get revealed😁

Honestly, Avengers is probably the only Marvel game in recent years that was a fiasco. Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Midnight Suns (which came out December last year) are all absolutely amazing in their own rights. I highly recommend that you play Midnight Suns (which is a card-based strategy game (sounds weird, but it's bloody amazing)) whenever you get the chance; you won't regret it.

yeah thats true, I loved all the marvel games but Avengers was so bad I almost didnt want to trust this game! So hopefully, Avengers was just a outlier, and all future Marvel games will be nuts!

I really REALLY loved this game as a Guardians fan, IMO its story is better than GOTG 1 and 2. The voice acting is great as well. I'm brazilian, and all of the main cast has the same VAs from the movies, which helps a lot with immersion . Unfortunately one of my trophies glitched and I didn't get the platinum, but I did it in my heart

Been binging on so many of your videos after discovering your channel. Would really love to see you cover Forspoken. Not in an ironic way, I genuinely think it has a really fun platinum. It doesn’t stretch things out, you can easily get it without much difficulty in 40 hours. The combat in the late game is really exciting, so post game mop up makes for a really fun platinum trophy experience!

I have a question regarding Platinum Trophy, when you said Archives do not add as you go through chapter select after completing the game, so they should not carry if you do NEW GAME + and do chapter select to get them right? Or, did you mean you did new game plus and played each chapter in chronological order? I would appreciate some clarification on this

if its an archive, just move onto the next one.. you dont need them all for the trophies.. the game has more than the trophy needs, so you should be fine

When Marvel's Avengers was released, it was truly abysmal. Awful writing, bad gameplay and Square Enix's inclusion of online live service was just awful. It lost my faith in Marvel Games, except Spider man 2018 and Miles Morales as they are awesome. But any other Marvel video game adaptation I just totally lost faith in. When this was released I was on the fence about it, after the last one I wasn't sure whether I wanted to play it all. But when the reviews came out stating that it was a lot better than the previous game, I just had to try it. So I got myself a copy and after the first few hours I was completely mind blown, the storytelling was brilliant, the combat was just exceptional especially the huddles, the soundtrack particularly Star Lord which were made up exclusively for the game was just incredible. I loved every second of this game and even now 2 years after getting the platinum I still say it's easily one of the best Marvel Games ever and is infinitely better than Square Enix's last Marvel venture.

I went in not expecting much of this game and ended up really enjoying the plat for this one, I think this one had a streamer mode on so you could record or stream this game without worry about the copyright strikes.
