Having just watched the Conan video you can definitely see the difference in quality of Buscema's work. I didn't know about air brushing.

Right?!?! I think Buscema phoned in the art on the movie novelization. Thanks for checking it out! Also, I shot a Trashy Movie list...and it was so bad (my video performance, not the films) that I took it down. I plan on reshooting it at some point and doing belated list. I loved the Weirdworld comics, but at the risk of shocking Steve Donaghue to his core, I preferred the ones that Mike Ploog drew.

I have not seen the original Weirdworld comics by Ploog. I'm going to have to track down a few of those!
