A few more notes about how amazing the fast travel is for anybody interested (I know this from hands on previews not from leaks, but still if you're trying to avoid as much info as possible, skip this): As you can see on the map screen, there is a bar that fills up when you complete side content in a given district. When you get to the second checkpoint/unlock level on it, you can now fast travel in that district. But it's not just set points there. No, you can fast travel ANYWHERE in that district that you select. In that one clip they show, notice how you travel exactly where the cursor is, not somewhere random in the district

What I love is what was a optional suit power giving fanservice to the movies and is a little underwhelming in the first game is now a literal IMPLEMENTED game mechanic…truly out of left field

Ahhh gliding ability. A lot of people would equip the suit power with the Stark suit 2.0. I believe the gliding ability will return and still be different from the web wings but also have a play in them .

I'm impatiently waiting for October 20th to arrive because my pre ordered Digital Deluxe edition of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 downloaded last night Edit: I got the Platinum trophy for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on October 22nd, and it was absolutely fantastic. It already won Game of the Year 2023 in my book. Also, near the end, there's a big twist that involves Pete that I'm not gonna spoil... let's just say that I'm pretty sure no one saw it coming

bought the console bundle and sony is so garbage they didn't even give us the deluxe edition of the game so had to preorder that the day I got the console... Sadly spiderman and GoW r the only 2 games worth playing on PS5 everything else imo sucks. But other then that I can't wait to play this game lol.

@@subzero308 if the PS5 is like the other consoles it's greatest games won't come until the middle or end of its life cycle. Sony tends to start slow but end big. But yes as a consumer when you spend $500 on hardware you want to reap the benefits immediately.

Bro I was just devastated...I borderline had tears in my eyes 😂😂, b/c I tried to pre-order it since yesterday & then when I went to the checkout it kept saying "Something went wrong try again later"...I was worried but I said maybe it'll be fixed tomorrow, only for it to say thr samething tonight. I was so heartbroken b/c this is the whole reason I got a PS5...I tried multiple things, & the last hope was to just buy a $100 gift card & it finally worked!!! Playing as venom would be overrated because its a SPIDERMAN game. You play as SPIDERMAN. Not the main villain. The symbiote is the closest thing we will get and i honestly dont want him to be playable. Maybe in a venom spin off game made by insomniac later
