Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Rollercoaster rescue scene. While the Hunter's are trying to capture Tombstone, massive destruction starts when the Ferris Wheel crashes into the Rollercoaster. Peter is then saved by Harry with his Symbiote powers.

While I get the emotion behind this scene and it's a great way to show off that Harry has the symbiote, part of me is slightly irritated how during this scene Peter NEVER thought to use the spider-arms to help hoist the people up. It's not even like they're locked out of story, they're introduced in the very first mission against Sandman, soooo what gives?

It’s a shame that Peter doesn’t acknowledge that moment at any point. It’s quite a significant moment and the fact that he doesn’t seem the slightest bit troubled by the fact that he nearly let people die is really odd. Especially when you consider how little Peter’s inner struggles are actually acknowledged by the game up until act 3 - This sequence could have been a perfect starting point to actually show Peter’s self doubt.

dude he's obviously supressing those thoughts that's why inside his head the symbiote does things like taking care of his villains and stuff, even if you played for a bit using the symbiote suit after peter wakes up he mentions how with the suit people are safe and everyone wins...except for the dying harry but everyone would be safe if the suit stays with him.@@43quin

The only thing that is shown by the game is that Peter is having trouble balancing his personal life with his duty as Spider-Man (as usual), but when those struggles actually appear to manifest and affect his ability to save people like in the Coney Island sequence, Peter doesn't seem bothered by it at all - The conversation with Harry afterwards shows him excited by Harry's suit in fact, with no mention or reflection on his almost-failure, whether it be to Harry or to himself. He doesn't seem disturbed, he isn't more insecure as a result, it's really odd. It's a shame because all the above done right would make the whole "the suit makes me a better Spider-Man" make a million times more sense. The fact that Peter shows no prior doubt in his actual ability to be Spider-Man means that this line, while sounds cool, kinda comes out of nowhere. And the fact that all of these struggles are made worse by the fact that he is still grieving May's death deep down makes perfect sense. Unfortunately as I mentioned before, the game doesn't acknowledge and show this link until act 3 - *when Peter has already taken the black suit off!* Ideally all of these things should have been laced throughout the game, not conveyed to the players after the fact, in the very last act of the game!
