Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales - How To Play as Peter Parker (Advanced Suit) Glitch Tutorial

The glitch doesn't work anymore after update version 1.04 or higher.
There are 3 possible solutions if the glitch doesn't work for you anymore:
⚠ The first 2 solutions works ONLY if you exited the game with glitched suit already equipped before the update and/or never did the glitch and never updated the game to version 1.04 or higher ⚠
⚠⚠ If your game is already at version 1.04 or higher and haven't done the glitch yet, read the 3rd solution ⚠⚠
1. ⚠ Works only if you exited the game with glitched suit already equipped before the update ⚠
A great solution for it (by Simone Liguori and Ale Villarreal from the comments) is to create a new save slot / NG+ in the game when you want to play with different suits and every time you want to use this suit, just load the original save slot.
2. ⚠⚠ Works only if you exited the game with glitched suit already equipped before the update and/or never did the glitch and never updated the game to version 1.04 or higher ⚠⚠
Another way is to disable the automatic downloads on your console before the update and if your console is already downloading the update then stop the update and disable automatic downloads on your console.
3. If you desperately want this suit and the game is already at version 1.04 or higher then I'll suggest you delete the game from your console (keep the save data), buy or get the disc version if you can, install the game with the disc while being disconnected from the internet on your console, after that disable automatic downloads on your console and go online again.
Sorry but this is the only way.
**And for those who didn't update the game (below version 1.04) and still having trouble performing the glitch:
In order for the glitch to work you must navigate the suits selection menu using the D-pad and only after the suit appears you can press X and O buttons together.
After that, press your confirm button, X or O (depends what is the default button is set on your console).

The fact that it also uses Peter’s swing animations means this has to be an intentional Easter egg, or that it would’ve been an option in a earlier version of the game to play as Peter, perhaps in one of the earlier levels or as an endgame reward.

I really really wish that Insomniac just kept the spooderman glitch in the game. This is one of those situations where a glitch is actually loved by the video gaming community and we really didn't want it to be removed.

Some odd things I noticed when playing around with this glitch -Peter still has most of his animations like swinging and fighting but he also has similar properties to the first game like higher charge jump when stopping a car he still uses his animations. -the only time I got him to use a finisher was when fighting rhino and it was the same as the one from the first game. -if you enter a cutscene where miles takes of his mask it will still be him. -occasionally I hear a voice line that's actually peter's voice. My thoughts on it is that the developers used it as a placeholder when testing the game and left it in by mistake or Peter will be playable in possible future dlc.

In short: Go to the Suits Menu > navigate to a suit using the D-pad but don't pick it yet, wait for it to appear > press the X and O button at the same time (I'll recommend you do it with both of your thumbs for better accuracy) > now press your default confirm button again, X or O (depends what is the default button is set on your console) and you should see the advanced suit appeared as selected > now you can leave the menu and play as Spoderman. Enjoy :)

@@joseroerto8732 From what it looks like, the game was built on the same engine of the previous game and probably only a few functions and animations have changed and added like the venom power, invisibility, etc. Maybe all the original models from the previous game are still left inside and that's why this suit includes Peter's original animations. But that's just a theory. A game theory lol

With Peter's suit? If so you can't because you can't do venom punch. I'll suggest avoiding combat while using this suit as you can't perform venom attacks and finishers.

If you do some venom attacks as Peter, he sometimes get stuck in an infinite running animation, which also makes you invincible. But you cant actually move.

Fun fact. When you switch back to miles, the first time that you do, you don't have a head. To fix that, just choose another miles suit again.

With how You have Peter’s animations with this suit and the way you use it, it has to be an Easter egg. The only thing I hope they patch about it is give Miles his chin back. I don’t think they will patch it out as Polygon Paul and Unrendered Robert are still in the remaster but with a sticky note saying “Did you Miss Us?”

If you wanna take cool photo mode pics with it, try swinging around. When you swing around the chin reverts to normal, but only when you’re swinging. It reverts back to the no chin when you just walk around.
