You know how they could fix the whole availability thing? Go back to print to demand. It might take longer, but at least you'll get the cards eventually. Business practices like this are why people should be more open to proxies, forbidden only in actual tournaments, but accepted in all other events otherwise. Also, at 4:26, regarding legality, I'm pretty sure they've opened up universes beyond to all formats. I don't recall there being an exemption for secret lairs.

Without commander, none of the old backstock would ever sell once it rotated out of standard. To say it’s a fake format is dumb bc it’s a part of what helps your LGS stay afloat and relevant.

Got onto the site about a half hour early and waited for 12 and tried checking out as fast as I could, I really only wanted foil Storm and wolverine; my friend wanted foil iron man. So, I tried getting a full foil bundle to get the promo too, but the que put me into checkout after 2 hours and 54 min, by then foil storm and both bundles were sold out along with the promo sold out after the first hour. I was able to buy 1 of Each foil, and 1 non foil storm. Supposed to come in tomorrow and can't wait to spread the love to my friend group who didn't get them and play some Marvel.

If only we could design some kind of system where people could order a product before said product went into production that could allow the producer to know exactly how many products needs to be produced to ensure every buyer could actually get the product they wanted and already paid... Adding on to your comment for others who dont know why Wizards switched from print to demand and back to the current system and because i didnt cover it enough in the video. Wizards has said that print to demand caused them to have an unreliable method of printing as they never knew what the order size was going to be, how many extra prints it took to get the quality right to fulfill all the orders, and the extra cost of reserving an unknown amount of print capacity. The current model lets them very simply write down a number and print that much money.

I queued up pretty much at the start in the UK. Found out the queue jump method 1 hour in so i got my second phone. Managed to buy 4 whole sets so I ended up buying 4 more with another account. In reality my original phone ended up queueing for 6 hours and when the queue ended everything ran out. The world is unfair. Always be cheating.

I believe that the problem with reprinting this is that Secret Lair are supposed to be a "limited edition". They are not resselling the LOTR or other licenced Secret lair. They may reprint the card function, but with other art, like what happened with the Walking Dead SL. Maybe they cannot make this cards again. And also, who got the secret lair might be angry also, since now they have a valuable product. Even tough a lot of scalpers got it, a lot of people also got it. I honestly would vote for reprinting and changing this damn system (maybe a mixture of ready to delivery and, in case of finishing the stocks, print to demand), but I really doubt if they can do this.

You have pokemon and Lorcana boxes behind you, both more ethical card games that don't nickle and dime customers the way magic the gathering does with these horrible different boxes/secret lairs/region locked products. We shouldn't be paying these primums and letting such unethical behavior to continue. But money talks and these secret lairs get sold out.

non commander formats are unplayable because of counterspell and duress abuse. with 4 players can no longer lock out everyone else from playing or having fun
