if you've seen Ant Man and the Wasp, the suits are similar to what Hank Pym wore when he went into the Quantum Realm, and there are theories that point out that the Avengers are time travelling through the Quantum Realm and hence why they're wearing the suits

The white suits are based off of Hank Pym's Quantum Realm suit in Antman and the Wasp. It likely means the Avengers are going to be using the Quantum Realm for time travel.
