I do believe Hela has officially taken over that role in the MCU. We didn't see her die in Ragnarok, so I'm assuming she's still alive.

You should check out the music video Doomsday by the band Architects. Tom Searle was the guitarist in the band but he died from cancer last year. Doomsday was a song that Tom had started to write but never got to finish...so the band completed it for him and the song is deep af. I think you'd like it...especially if you read the lyrics with it.
