I honestly never thought we'd see Namor with the wings on his feet and they somehow actually made him look badass. I cannot express my love for everyone who has worked on this film and I cannot imagine how much of a struggle it was to do so without Chadwick as if it wasn't for him, we would've never built such a love for this fantastic character and world. Thank you, Chadwick Boseman (Rest In Peace), and everyone who worked on this film and sent it off. Wakanda Forever!

Before we had concept art come out I’d honestly thought they’d just have Namor wear some sort of shoes with wings on them(like a nod to his wings) but they straight up gave him wings, as you know red Bull gives you wings😂 but nah I think we’re at that point in the mcu where something that was weird 10yrs ago is now just normal like we’ve a giant ass robot god, a purple alien. A talking tree and raccoon, the weird is normal now.

@@cristianbejarano2000 That very much seems to be the case as there are people who will inevitable compare the two characters. Even though I do prefer Aquaman, I do still think Namor is quite an interesting character with potential and I like the difference their cultures as Aquaman and Atlantis in DC centres around more futuristic/oceanic cultures living among the sea life, whereas Namor and his kingdom appear to be more tribal and include major representation of indigenous Aztec/Mayan culture.

I'm really curious to see how they're gonna do Riri's story cause in the comics she was Tony Stark's protégé. But he's been dead n gone for a while now. I think what they're trying to do, is find that new Tony and Cap dynamic. I think the smart thing to do, would be to cast young actors in the role, vs older ones for contract issues. I think Riri, and Shuri, or Riri and Peter Parker (depending on rights), or Riri and Kate Bishop maybe could fill in the role nicely. It just needs to be people with opposing ideologies; it's why Tony and Cap got on so well, yet fought all the time. They knew when to step up either to the plate or to each other. You need another dynamic like that to hold the universe together. And you know what, phase 4 was pretty rocky, but with THIS closing it out....god damn what a way to end a phase.

As an African I love to see when we as black men just appreciate strong black women. A lot of the "recast" energy is largely sexist from a lot of black men.
