This is undeniably my favorite Logan theme in the Marvel Vs Capcom series. Emphasis on Logan, because yes another guy made the comment and said it best that despite the hard times and traumatic experiences he’s had as James Howlett, Weapon X, or an X-Man, he’s still himself and the hero known as Wolverine - fighting for a better tomorrow where he can live in peace.

I'm not a Wolverine or X-Men buff (The New Mutants and Power Pack were my jam in the 80's), but it seems to me Morph would annoy Wolverine almost as much as Deadpool does. It really seemed out of character for him and Wolverine to be buddies in the 94 cartoon. (not to mention I'd never heard of him). Looking him up, it would seem that as I thought, this annoying character was just created for the 94 cartoon, then way later made into an official Marvel character.

Wolverine is a very tragic character. He has watched all that he has loved around him die and he has had to live a life of loss and torment for hundreds of years. That's why he's so standoffish and aggressive. He fears making a new relationship with someone he knows he will lose. The Capcom VGM composers knew this and made the song sound depressing and melancholic to fit his character.
