@@gerardrbain1972 True, but when Black Panther was first introduced, he did seem to use some of Batman's methods. After all, he initially joined the Avengers to check out the other heroes to confirm they wouldn't be a threat to Wakanda, and that is definitely a Batman thing to do.

@kali3665 T'Challa's first appearance was in Fantastic Four 52 in 1966, where he set traps for the entire team to test them. T'Challa was always the two steps ahead of his enemies but three steps ahead of his friends type of character. That doesn't make him a Batman knockoff

9:43-9:51 Bruce funded the restoration of *Gotham City* after the events of *No Man’s Land* which was reported to have cost a *Trillion Dollars* in *Batman (December, 1998) Vol 1 Issue 560.* Then it was revealed in *Batman: Gotham Knights (March 2002) Vol 1 Issue 25,* that Bruce Wayne practically funded the whole thing. Is Black Panther richer? Sure, but *$9 billion* is a little low for Batman, especially Joker robbed Bruce Wayne of *$100 Billion* during Joker War in *Batman (August, 2020) Vol 3 Issue 93.*
