This expansion really goes hand in hand with the new Twisted Ambitions set, the villain and Fate decks are practically designed to intertwine with Venom which is really fun. A good Match up is definitely Doc Oc Vs Venom. I do hope they do some more single expansions like these for Magneto and Doctor Doom.

Only one villain in that box set? That's unusual.

The common theory is that he was meant to come in the newest expansion Twisted Ambitions but they didn’t want two Spider-Man Villains in one set. That or because Venom is such a popular character they figured he’d probably be a good test to see if people are willing to buy single character expansions.
