I remember the first day my friend introduced me to this game... The last time I fell in love with a fighting game so hard and so fast was Tekken 3. I was taken back by the huge character roster. I remember wondering where Batman and Superman were... Hbha, I was pretty dumb back then. But I remember hearing this music... All of the jazz music in the game is so fucking classy and refreshing... It makes the game feel like a timeless masterpiece... A jewel that never gets old. The jazzy theme of this game gives it two things... One, it gives it a lighthearted edge to a fiercely competitive game.. It also gives it a unique quality by not having boring 8bit fighting music... It gives the game life, same goes with the unique 3d background... Sure I'm biased because it's the first game I played in the vs. Series... But this game, the music... Everything is perfect. The soundtrack contrasts the super fast pace of the game... It's amazing.

American Asshole I remember first getting introduced when I was like 6 or maybe 7. I was at an arcade with my Dad and brother and my Dad pointed out a Marvel vs. Capcom cabinet, I was already a huge fan of Marvel and Street Fighter and to see them collide in that game, that is a memory I will never forget.

@SionXIII Similar case with me, didn't get to play it until the rerelease on Xbox One. Still really fun regardless. I think I like almost all the MVC games equally, they each have their own strength. The first obviously started the series, the second had the largest roster, and the third had the best balance of oddballs and fan favorites. Infinite was okay, but the presentation and lack of X-Men/Fantastic Four were huge turn offs.
