This is what they really missed on Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. They are just really too busy making the long generic movie style cutscenes with too many dialogues. Hell it's just even a bland artstyle. Here on MvC3 you'll already have such a cool intro with the cel shaded style. No words but you still can see and understand what's happening.

These intros show how much love and care they did for this revival, 1:23 Hulk and Chris fought eachother, 8:00 the 3rd movie has them realizing they are fighting for the same goal. No words, just looking at eachother and realizing the situation. This game is a masterpiece.

The most hilarious thing about these is how hard they try to keep Felicia's body hidden from the camera in the 4th opening. This even extended to the official website for the game; Felicia's portrait was the only one that was edited to obscure everything but her face. The ESRB apparently had a problem with a nearly-naked catwoman in cinematics and promotional materials, but somehow not in the actual gameplay.

Well, if the "shooty boi" happens to be CHRIS REDFIELD, there's your answer!! XD On a serious note, obvs Chris is never beating Hulk in a straightforward fight, but he can at least keep Hulk busy for a bit since he's about as strong and fit as Captain America (Steve Roger's version) is. To win, Chris would need access to all of his heaviest weapons (including the Satellite Laser from RE5) and a SUBSTANTIAL amount of both space and cover, lol. Even if he "wins", at most Chris will just incapacitate the Hulk due to the latter's healing factor...unless complete vaporization is possible by laser.

@The gamma Radiant Yeah, he just needs a few seconds to charge the shot; it's required to beat the largest boss in the game :) Problem is finding both the timing and spacing to do so against the Green Giant, lol. There are also grenade launcher rounds in Resident Evil: Code: Veronica made specifically for dealing with latge-scale BOWs like the Hulk, but there are only 3 in that game. That said, just 1 immediately cuts its targets health by half, and the next shot cuts that half in half, and so on...they just don't have killing capacity, lol. That said, I figured they may at least stall him for a second

There is a certain level of genius behind how they stage all the shots with Felicia. Because she's either clinging to Haggar's back or running on all fours, there is never a clear view of her rather revealing front. This allows Capcom to use the video for marketing on "all ages" platforms, and it's done so natural and in-character that DarkStalkers fans don't feel cheated or that she'd been watered down.

Fun Fact: they got some teen off Fanfiction.net to write the story. No joke. But I agree with you, the generic feel of it makes it feel like any other game, what happened to the comic style? And the roster was unique and not a money making scheme. What happened to Felica, Amerterasu, Viewiful Joe, Tron Boone, Jill Valentine, Akuma, Deadpool, MODOK, SHUMA-FRICKEN-GORATH! And the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters were cut because Marvel was salty they didn't own the license. Plus, Capcom lost so much creative control, and Marvel played it so safe with their side of the roster. It's weird how they made 3, then made Ultimate 3, and then made Infinite.
