Venom's more of a wild card with morals, he's been both a hero and a villain. He doesn't see himself as a bad guy but more of a person defending himself since he sees Spider-Man as a bully for always getting in the way things he did regarding the Daily Bugal, resulting in him losing his job, his reputation and eventually even his home. He only did bad most of the time because he was forced into it in some way and has an honor code so he wouldn't allow himself to say no if he felt he owes someone regardless of who they are, even if he owes Spider-Man He always wanted to be a hero and became one for a short time when he moved away and made a deal with Spider-Man to stay away from each other.
