Guessing they forgot that Gwen had lost her original powers during the events of the “Spider-Women” crossover event (drained by her world’s version of Silk), afterwards she initially had to rely on limited use isotopes from Murdock before eventually gaining full control of her symbiote (only after realising that compared to other Gwen Stacy’s across the multiverse, she’s one of the few lucky ones in spite of all her harsh experiences) in order to regain her powers. Basically, she still no longer naturally has her abilities & now relies on her symbiote (which now takes the appearance of her normal costume, with only rare instances of reverting to her “Gwenom” form when under emotional stress) in order to continue being a Spider Hero.

That's not the version of her that appears in media outside of comics. I'm guessing they didn't forget, its just despite being the origin for most Marvel characters the comcis are way less popular and profitable than everything else. Way more people know her from the Spiderverse movie then ever read her comic. These days the comics are just a sideline for Marvel, I'm sure if she gets a movie they will reset her powers in her comics to match it.

Sony Pictures Entertainment's Spider-Verse films; Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the USA on June 2, 2023. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is scheduled to be released in theaters in the US on March 29, '24. That said, Sony Pictures Ent is also developing an untitled Spider-Women spin-off film.

@@Revato Won't work if they're taking the Earth 65 storyline. The Gwen on Earth 65 is meant to be still in school alongside Lizard-Peter. Emma (from the ASM duology) is too old to be playing a schoolgirl again, and casting Andrew as 'Lizard-Peter' wouldn't make sense either as Andrew would also be 'too old' to be playing a nerdy schoolkid. The Peter on Earth-65 from memory is depicted as an 'unattractive' nerd with glasses in those comics.
