What are you talking about? Her comic is great. More importantly, she attracts a lot of new, young readers. That is the single most important thing about her and the reason she keeps showing up in other media. Part of the reason Marvel went bankrupt is that they stopped attracting kids to the readership for a long time in the 80s and 90s when they were trying harder to appeal to adults. Children who read comic books today become avid comic book readers as teens and adults. If you stop attracting kids, you're hurting the whole industry. Marvel tried and failed to write stories for kids (e.g. Power Pack), but Kamala actually brought in kids to the comic book world. That's why she's so incredibly important for the future of Marvel's comic book division. Also, the kids who read her comic book tend to be girls and non-white, so she's expanding the readership into new demographics. If you don't like Ms. Marvel comic books, I could care less. As long as she keeps bringing in kids to the readership, that's what really matters.

Kamala is just such an amazing character. She is written like the comic book nerd that made it. :) I loved the "we are Kamala Khan" campaign she has so much that you can relate to. Teen angst, nerd culture, strict parents, being a person of color, integration as an immigrant, heck being seen as an immigrant even when you've lived your whole life here, struggles of being a woman, being part of a religious minority etc. The character, and the supporting cast are just amazing. :)

Her original comic run was one of the top rated for years and is one of the most well received books Marvel has had. She's like one of the few attempts in recent years at new characters for Marvel that's actually connected with fans and developed a strong and significant fanbase of her own. Of course Marvel are putting her in everything. Especially as she also is a Muslim Woman, meaning more representation. So they've got a great, strong & popular character that gives them representation points...that's like gold to them😂 Love Kamala though she's a really relatable and fun character, this is a cool more grounded version of her which is nice (the comic is completely off the wall it's great)

As a classic Avengers fan it's kinda annoying when they do the Justice League thing of everyone in universe is on the team. Where as in Marvel there's always been categories of characters and while there's been cross cutting, people still either fall under Avengers character X-men excetera. I'll be honest with you my personal wishes aside I don't think they'll have FF and X-men characters in here, even if they do it won't be any, may even just be DLC. And I'm certainly not asking for them now as we've barely even seen any actual proper Avengers who are synonymous with the team like Ant-man, Wasp, Hawkeye and Vision

Technically no. You ARE going to play as the classic Avengers (minus Hawkeye). Kamala is being used more as the narrative drive for the game, meaning the game's story revolves around her and her experiences with the Avengers.

I think how it's going to work is: The Avengers are scattered and we need someone to bring them back, Ms. Marvel is the one to do that. We'll play as all the classic avengers but it's once she's found them and convinced them to join again. Plus each hero will have their own little missions outside the main story. Basically she's your starter pokemon you spend the beginning of the game with until you find the others and then you'll have your full team and can use them instead. I think some missions let us pick who we are, others you're a set character. So you'll be her in the beginning but not the whole game

chris Froat No you definitely will have more moments in the main campaign to play as her on specific hero missions. I have a feeling the rejoining of the avengers happens really early in the game. You can also play as her in the multiplayer.

The idea of someone being a massive fan of the avengers, then getting their powers on the day it all goes wrong for them, and thus being that glue that's going to go and stick them all back together...Yeah, it's clever and heartwarming, and I really like it.

I saw the gameplay of this game and while I never took interest of Kamala Khan in the comics, her character in this game made her a worthy character of the Marvel Universe. She is kind of fun to play as and she has a very good character arc were she grows good in her role. Something that I also liked about this game, is the antagonist of the game, George Tarleton, who I never thought would be a good Avengers level of threath. But the hit the nail with Tarleton and Kamala Khan. Overall, every focus was more on her, less on the other heroes. There is not som much of Thor, and Iron Man tries so hard to be Robert Downey Jr, while Black Widow show real strong female character (as Black Widow should be in comics), and Hulks character is so good throughout the story. Overall, I found some heavy plotholes throughout the game and in the long run, the game is boring and there aren't so many supervillains at all! You just saw them all in the trailers!

I strongly feel the choice to choose Kamala was a narrative decision rather than strictly a gameplay one. I mean, for their story, it would be smarter to feature a character that could unite the Avengers together instead of one best known for causing them to divide. Just saying.
