Oh I wish i had your self-control to wait and watch it all at once! But there is something quite fun about watching every week too, feels like everyone's watching it together that way. And I think this will be one of the Marvel shows that's full of easter eggs to dissect as it goes on too, I usually only get into that side of it when i watch one episode a week, helps fill the gaps lol

@@Endureth Disney+ is so undercooked in a lot of these ways. They should be promoting shows ahead of release, and for Marvel there really should be an upgraded, watchable alternative to this podcast on the platform too. There's so much unexplored potential with Marvel ip, even series doing deep dives on comic histories of characters would be amazing. And the UI is horrific.

There's no such thing as the "typical Marvel fan". The comics have been always been way more diverse than the MCU, not just in the characters, but also in the genres it experiments with. In the early MCU they definitely prioritised a very particular kind of action movie, with white, straight characters always taking centre stage. These days the MCU is starting to do a better job of reflecting the diversity of the source material, and the diversity in their audience and the world at large.
