This marvelous abandoned palace, built in the beginning of the 18th century, was owned by a royal Brazilian family. With splendid architecture inside, this place was absolutely one of our top favorite explorations. It is such a shame that this utterly gorgeous billionaire's palace is in such a state of disrepair. Let's hope someone saves it soon, before it is too late...

Absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The artistry and talent it took to decorate the ceilings and walls is huge. It appeared real! Such a shame to see it fall into decay. It must have been awesome to explore. Wow!! Thanks for showing this, guys.

"the artistry and talent it took to decorate the ceilings" keep in mind slavery existed during this time. Not every slave was picking cotton. Most likely forced, unpaid labor to make this place beautiful.

Hi Maureno and Remon, Explomo, I really love this special way, how you formulate the introduction. - It's so poetic! - This marvellous palace is really one of your most impressive and breathtaking explores, you ever showed on your videos. - I can only agree to you, that it is too bad they don't restore this place at all and could preserve it as a museum. There are so beautiful details to see, as for instance these wonderful ceilings and some of the furniture still being in a considerably good shape. - i am not at all surprised, that you really had a special feeling, when walking through these grand rooms. I would have felt absolutely the same way, as I love to visit castles and manor houses, when i am travelling around. - Super explore, boys! It was a pure pleasure watching. - Wishing you all the best blessings and peace. - Kindest regards from Switzerland.

That is such a grand place! I can see why you both liked it so much. It blows my mind to see so many homes left abandoned, still have so many high quality items left inside to rot. It's no way to respect all those lovely items, that their hard earned money purchased. Don't you wish you could rescue all those things, sell them, and donate the proceeds to help the poor? It just breaks my heart to know they will be completely destroyed from the decay that will soon overtake them all.

Hello from an American who lives in Germany (because of my husband’s job) I love your videos! I really like that you guys appreciate the old, beautiful homes and antiques. I too love to explore and like to collect antiques. I like to think about the people who owned the homes I’ve explored and the antiques I’ve purchased. It is quite poignant when one considers the lives that’s were lived in the houses and the lives that have passed away, leaving nothing but memories in the form of old photos and belongings. The old photos that are left to fade are the saddest to me. Keep up the great discoveries and all the best to you!

Money, taxes, money, taxes ...........this is why abandon buildings are not being restored to their former glory. If only the roof were restored, the rest could be done later. The common denominator in all these buildings ...... faulty roof leads to severe decay!

Is it possible that this home was a boarding house? The number of single beds, sinks, large tables, and the room numbers.

They do say they know who owned it. So they may have had lots of visitors as well as much family, even extended family. Wonder why it was abandoned if the family left the country. in which case they had more to go onto, leaving this place for a better one.

Another beautiful find. It breaks my heart to see all of these beautiful pieces of antique furniture being left to rot.

Yes, this was a really beautiful explore. The wardrobe was huge. I've never seen one that big. I also liked those circular stairs. Those are hard to build. The pictures were fantastic and really give you an idea of the occupants.
