For some reason I did fine all the way up to the separation and coloring. Maybe it was the shape I decided to do but when I try to darken it the entire creation turns dark instead of just the jewel

I have a problem, I glue the object and simulate and it works like its suppose to, but every time I undo the simulation (with ctrl + z) the object loses the glue and its original position. i saved my project edit something else for 30 mins and the same thing happens if I simulate and undo the simulation. is there a way you can set its position so it wont unglued it self if I undo a simulation?
