Marvelous Designer Basic Garments: Pockets

I wish you could make a tutorial for huge volume clothes, like the ones the fashion turned up on the past few season, like big structures underneath, I wonder how could I execute that, huge shoulder pads or very structured pieces, like last collection of victor and holf for example. Thank you anyway

@@Marvelousdesigner i looked up and there is nothing specifically for hard structures, there is a dress with a cage underneath, but the cage was brought ready and is a bit tricky to understand how to do it.

@@haydeeserpa you cannot make hard structures in Marvelous Designer. so you need to make it beforehand and work with it as an avatar/obj. this is also a discussion to bring to discord and less so a video on pockets.

@@haydeeserpa no worries! you can use it on browser as well, the discord channel has some artists who HAVE found solutions to your question but they are work arounds. there you can see what theyve done and you might enjoy it.

honestly this tutorial is a breath of fresh air, every other Clo 3d tutorial is so fast paced is quite difficult for a beginner to grasp every aspect in one watch, but this tutorial is perfect!! easy to follow. such a comprehensive tutorial.

Thank you! We do want to note that this is Marvelous Designer tutorial and not CLO tutorial. While creation concepts are applicable across the two, there are many different tools and terms for the same tools between the two software packages. People get confused recently thinking a CLO video is Marvelous Designer when it isn't and vice Versa. 😰

Not sure why, but when I click Pleat Folds on the first pocket, it doesn't bend like yours. The red line on the left is in the center while the blue is furthest left but on the right side the red line is on the furthest right and the blue is in the center. So it's not really mirroring and bending like a box in the middle. How can I fix?

Hi guys, do you have a short cut in the 3d viewport for " FOCUS" ? My viewport is crazy and hard to manipulate, it spin all crazy. Do you have the "f " shortkey as autodesk maya?
