I don't think Viserys had a particular problem with his brother I think it was more he just was trying to satisfy his small council mostly Otto . This made Damon act out as he felt his brother pushing him away and knew Otto and others was behind it knowing they could take advantage of his brother even more if he wasn't around.

Otto is literally the only person who makes sense out of all of these characters. He told Viserys that Daemon is bad which is true, Daemon is pile of garbage but Viserys refuses to accept that because he loves him. H also was the one who proposed Aegon marries Rhaenyra which could have solved succession issues

Every decision has a positive and negative consequence. It's inescapable. You make one happy, you make another sad or angry. His only mistake was not feeding the greed of those around him. Same with Rhaenyra. Not feeding greedy people will get you eaten

He's a terrible father he didn't cared for his sons and didn't care for his wife what was the whole point of having sons not to put his son on the throne what was the point for his first wife had to die for it he's the reason why the war of the dance with dragons started over the iron throne way before one strong boy death.

He wasn’t “good” he was a fool who only cared about his first child, a daughter from his first marriage. But he didn’t care at all for his second wife (who he freely chose; no one forced him) and the children he had with her. What kind of father stands there while his own son has his eye torn out? It’s absurd. Jaecarys and Lucerys should have lost their inheritance right then and there!! Better than demanding an eye in return. Viserys is an absurd, foolish, and idiotically weak man.

Definitely Aegon would have been a better king. I know everyone is hating on him because he bought a girl's maiden head at a auction and had his way with the servants but what man in this world doesn't. If he named his first son his heir could of avoided all this mess.

That's why he is terrible King he's the reason why this war started and i never did like him I read the books what was the point of having sons he didn't even notice them he didn't even care for them and his own wife the dance with the dragons was terrible day so much people died for the iron throne I'm happy he died terrible death for what it worth name his daughter the hair to the throne was stupid thing to do I'll never forget that.
