Love the way Tammi teases Marvin and that quirky chicken dance she does. Easy to see why Marvin loved her, she is completely adorable and sooooo gorgeous.

The quirky chicken dance is also done by all the dancers in Johnny Rivers song Baby I need your Loving on KZbin,I remember my Mother and Aunt dancing like that,in high school it was called the jerk.

I thought she wasn't feeling well. (She would collapse not long after this) At first she seems like she might have been in pain and was reluctant to perform, but she eventually relaxes and gets back in the groove.

reealitychick I think her sister would know the truth and her sister said the hammer story was a rumor. James Brown raped her and beat her. David Ruffin beat her and hit her with a motorcycle helmet. I’ve also besides talking to her sister read every article that can be found today. Look up Tammi Terrell articles in a newspaper called soul and ebony magazine . I forgot her sisters email address but I’ll give it to you latter.

Marvin Gaye, was never the same, after Tammy Terrell passed away. He adored her, who wouldn't. To top it of, she passed away, at 24 yrs old, she haven't yet reach, the peak of her career. Very, very sad. She was a very strong woman. I surely hope, she found peace after everything she went through, in her short life here on earth. Rest in Peace Tammy, and Marvin.

I get true friendship vibes. Like, he loved her like a sister/friend in real life, but they have to put on an act. Those that have truly been in love feel and know the difference between loving someone and being IN love with someone. They're barely gazing in each other's eyes. So what about their body chemistry screams being IN love other than the act of selling the song? There is no sexual energy. I guess they did their job and sold some people 🤷🏽‍♀️. That's what they were supposed to do. Truth is, this man was married and contrary to some beliefs, in spite of their problems, loved his wife, Anna.

They weren't each other's type. Marvin was a very, very honest person. If Tammi was his woman, he would have told us. The reason they were so close is because there were no romantic pressures. The fact that so many folks are convinced that they were more than good friends proves that they really sold it and y'all bought it.

Al Heitzer that actually isn’t true. Tammi’s sister said it was a motorcycle helmet he hit her with. Also a blow to the head can’t trigger a brain tumor she had been having migraines since she was 12. That was an early sign of the brain tumor she would have eventually died anyway.

She knows exactly what she is doing to him. I love how she looks at him at 2:00, then points something sweet at him before tilting her head back laughing while closing in. I guess the producers decided it was a bit too familiar for TV when they went to a super close up on his face. They missed some real love.

They bought out the best performances in each other. When they were in the studio,on stage or on a television show they knew that they had to bring it , They were at the top of their game Tammi was not going to let Marvin out sing her and we all know Marvin was not going to let Tammi out sing him . Probably the best Man and Woman duet of all time. They put so much joy into their singing constantly challenging each other and laughing because they both had such God given beautiful voices.

How can you NOT like this song...this duo had such great voices & great chemistry..you could see it....Such a tragedy how Tammi died; Marvin never recovered :( ..In the end, they both are gone, so sad :( Seems the good ones always end up dying young...As for those two individuals that hit the dislike button, How could you NOT like this vid/song? They must NOT know what GOOD MUSIC WAS/IS.. These two were magic together..There will NEVER, EVER be another Marvin or Tammi..May you both RIP...

They do this cute little head nudge and laugh at each other at 2:00. Omg you can see the love the friendship and the chemistry they had. Marvin came alive around her and i truly believed he loved her. But they both were in relationships specifically him with berry gordy sister. I dont think he wanted to risk ruining her career at motown so he kept the feelings at bay. I think she saw him as a friend But there was definately love there what kind doesnt matter; its there. And when she died they said nobody could console him. He loved this woman

There will never be another Marvin and Tammi!! They epitomized the words class, elegance, professionalism and love. When they were singing, they were truly singing to and abut each other. They had a special kind of love in which real friendships are made of. R.I.H. my favorite Motown artists!!!
