He needs many camps worldwide with other fighters to re-form his technique. Vettori had a very solid performance tonight. Considering it was his first title opportunity in the context of Adesanya coming off of his first mma loss, he did well. He had good moments. The judges were right. It was a clear 50-45. He had some moments but Izzy was never in danger. The fact that he still thinks he won after this fight is just crazy. Ofcourse, he is an elite fighter but Adesanya is significantly better and performed significantly better. At no point in the fight there was any chance Vettori was going to win. He should realise that so he can work on his shortcomings.

I think he was hesitant pulling the trigger so he doesn't get knocked out. Vettori did good job defending from head kicks and punches to the head but pretty much ate every leg kick and wrestling exchanges didn't do anything to Izzy.
