Southern University is my favorite marching band of all time. Very, very well done! Well I knew in my heart Jordan was going to be captain this year. However, when the season started, I saw this young lady up front. I naturally expected her to bring the FIRE like Jordan. The very first game was underwhelming. However, I see major improvements and I want to congratulate her and the team on a great performance. we don’t know what challenges she is facing as captain and we probably won’t ever. thorntom I respect your opinion as well however,Kayla Pittman and Dani both struggled their first years and were not legendary WHEN THEY FIRST STARTED and that’s what baffling about all of this criticism. People like to give praise but forget that THERE IS A PROCESS to becoming legendary. And to be clear both captains were legendary in their own right and even then people like to compare them against each other. Gabby will follow them I can see it she’s finding her own lane and she’s beginning to OWN IT! I honestly fill like she’ll Officially adjust to her new position by boombox Classic. I also believe that if she is a 2 year Captain she will really claim her spot as legendary differently from those before her.

Well Gabby has to workout all over Mobile because of her predecessors and that the most likely contender, Jordan, were all fire dancers. Gabby is striving to fill those big shoes. It ain't got nothing to do with the haters. Shit the people want that fire to pop like it used to. They were just the baddest in the SWAC. And this year they can't be the saddest. There is an element still missing but I understand Gabby is doing her best. With '15 girls they were changing shit up on you every other day and that was just during parade season so imagine wtf they would've done during this season. Who can forget that bomb ass snake (S formation) that Tailyn whipped out during parade season. Who can forget how Jordan had the V formation with those hooded capes swinging during parade season? Who can forget how Jordan marched into that battle of the band in cold ass Jan or Feb and ate it the f*** up, like it was summer time, with just the entrance and could've gone straight home after that because she gave so much life in under 10 minutes. And why do I remember this because that shit was just that hot and memorable? This year, I'm still sleep. Wow to see the momentum and creativeness for parades decline like this within the same year though. Jordan had us all the most excited we had ever been to see the dolls do parades. Spring 2018 was the climax of parades in doll history. This is so disappointing; i hope they get that parade momentum back that they JUST had 😩
