INGREDIENTS
100 cockles
1 coconut
15 fried Kashmiri chilli
2 spoon fried -coriander seeds , jeera , pepper.
1/2 spoon Turmeric powder
2 onions
3/4kg boiled rice soaked in water for 6h
Salt
4 spoon coconut oil
METHOD
wash cockles 5 times with water
Boil the water
Pour boiling water to the cockles and boil the cockles for 10 min
Let it cool down
Add 1/2 coconut ,chillies , coriander seeds, jeera, pepper , 1/2 turmeric powder and grind
Add 1/2 onion and grind
Add 1/2 coconut , salt ,rice to a mixer grinder and roughly grind
Take it in a vessel a heat it till all the water evaporates
Make small rice balls with a hole
Cook it on steam for 20 mins
Open the cockles and collect the fleshy side
Take a vessel and add 4 soon coconut oil let it heat
And a add a chopped onion
After the onion is golden brown add the cockles
Add 1/2 onion , salt let it cook for 10mins
Add grinded masala, pour a glass of water also add the water used to boil the cockles then mix it and let it cook for 15 mins
Add the rice balls and heat it till a boil
