Man! Who is that guitar player! I almost like some of this guitar solo work better than the original. The violin also worked pretty well in place of the horns.

Nice. the violin is a really effective horn section replacement! Great cover, one of the better SP covers I've heard. i dig the octave pedal on the guitar solo as well.

Where’s the bass and keyboard during the drum solo :/

Probably the drummers preference; these guys are clearly good enough to keep that rhythm going over a drum solo, but some drummers to play solos without constraints of another rhythm. The count back in was a bit disappointing though; the best part of any jazz drum solo I've seen is how they seamlessly come out of it back into the head.

@@trevorjohnson8142 What do you mean constraints? as long as he’s playing in time then he could play the same thing over the keyboard and bass..

@drummersnare6276 When you have a drum solo played over another rhythmic element, it would be musically inappropriate not, at least, reference, if not out right respond to, that rhythm. That's why some drummers have a preference whether they solo over a harmonic rhythm or not. It can be constraining to feel the pull to respond to that rhythm. It's not to say the drummer could not play this exact drum solo over that harmonic rhythm, but rather to say, since jazz is especially all about listening and responding, he likely would not play the same thing.
