Mary, an Overlooked Hero

Mary showed extraordinary courage when she humbly accepted God’s call to be the mother of Jesus, God’s Messiah. She accepted a life of hardship, of unanswered questions, of an uncertain future, in order for God’s plan of salvation to play out.
God has the same calling for every person, to humbly allow Jesus to enter into our lives and have complete control of our future, for his glory and his purposes. The poor, unknown, unimportant young girl named Mary is our example of courage and faith. How will you respond?
